This is something for which I've been looking for a long time. I quite frequently have to undertake a train journey which ends up with quite a long walk between some buildings that can be a real wind trap, so I need a wind-proof umbrella. If I know the weather is bad, then I have a regular stormproof umbrella but I hate lugging it around when I don't need to.This fits neatly into my shoulder bag (which also accommodates a laptop, in a different compartment) and certainly seems sufficiently robust to stand up to pretty severe wind and weather (I've not yet encountered anything really bad, so I can't say for certain, but it certainly looks sturdy and well-made,My only two minor complaints are that it takes a bit of practice to roll it up again after it's been folded down to size (there's a knack to arranging the spokes, I think) and that the wrist lanyard it comes with is way too small for large hands. But that's easily remedied -- Amazon have plenty of inexpensive wrist lanyards from which to choose.

I've been looking for a while for a large golfing size umbrella but compact too.This fits the bill exactly.It has a nice wooden handle with a strong looking strap and durable cover. When open its massive.. exactly what I needed.It quickly folds up and deploys easily too.Well made .. great purchase

this is quite large and can accommodate 2 with no issue. its automatic so opens and closes with just a press of s button.the wooden handle makes it really stand out. its strong so don't need to worry about strong winds, just turn the umbrella in the direction against the winds and you will be just fine.overall I think its value for money and this is one piece of a very durable umbrella.

Excellent quality umbrella! This is a very compact umbrella that is actually very large. This is a huge umbrella that can easily fit 2 or 3 people with no problems - ideal for a family. The double canopy design is great and the overall feel is very durable and high quality. This doesn’t feel like an umbrella that is going to collapse in windy weather. The automatic opening mechanism is fun and makes the umbrella a pleasure to use. Highly recommended and excellent value for money.

Brilliant umbrella and big enough to fit a large human being like myself and a companion. We all know the weather can change at anytime, and at a flick of a button the umbrella opens, and flick the button again it will shut. It is a solid umbrella and won't be turned inside out by moderately strong wind. Like I said the umbrella is really big it will fit two average people underneath easily. It does look prestige for an umbrella, and you won't look out of place holding this beauty at a movie premier.

Only had it for a few days but have tested it on a windy, rainy day. Worked brilliantly, the water runs off very quickly .Very quick to open and close, it does everything an umbrella should do and it does it very well.Heavy but strong and great quality.was lucky and I had to use only couple of times but so far so good. A little bit heavy but it stood against quite heavy wind.

Great umbrella - the huge size can easily covers two people, really sturdy and solid. It comes a strong structure and I'm fairly confident it will cope. I also love showing off the automatic open and close function.

Such a good umbrella. Have used now for about a year in London, so gets used a lot. Holds up well to the wind. Even if it flips inside out it quickly comes back with no broken bits. Seems quite indestructible for now. Quite heavy but it’s a huge umbrella when you open it, fits 3 people under it, but when closed easily fits into a backpack.Very happy and would buy again
