Glad I bought it
Slim fit, flattering, warm and great for layering. I found it very soft, not scratchy, though it IS wool after all. It's what I expected from merino wool. It also looks dressy as a top layer. Very versatile and wrinkle-resistant for cold weather traveling. I liked the color ("black melange") better than expected: the photo looks more like a charcoal, whereas in reality I'd describe it as closer to black, with a small amount of heathering. Maybe "black melange." Hmm. Whoever came up with that description did a very good job. I also like the fact that it's made in the EU (Poland, from Italian merino wool.) I love it.

Classic and elegant.
Classic elegant sweater. Excellent finish. Knittons sizing chart is quite accurate. I'm 5'6 / 146, I got size M. It fits just right, as shown on the model - slightly loose but slimming. The sleeves are also slightly loose, not baggy. The only issue - they are too long covering my hands down to the fingers, though I don't have short arms. From the read reviews nobody seems to have the same problem. I measured it's length, it's 25 inches, just as the chart says, it's the same length with my other sweaters. But I noticed the sleeve cuff is wider compared to others, that's why it doesn't stay around the wrist but slides down onto the hand. I still really like it, can always wear it with sleeves pulled up, actually this is the way the model wears it. I got Olive and Orange, both lovely colors, as pictured. Thinking of getting another one in black melange, and maybe to try a smaller size (because of the sleeve length). Wore them already, in cool weather they keep you warm, when it's warm outside I don't feel hot. Hand washed - they didn't shrink. I give 5 stars wishing they had tighter cuffs))) and other colors, like gray, beige... I mean lighter colors too.

Love the color and sweater material but it runs tiny ...
Love the color and sweater material but it runs tiny not small! If you want to wear a collar shirt under it, get it two sizes larger. If you just want it to fit get it one size larger. I'm 5' 9". I wear a perfect size 8/10 in every store! Every store! Medium was a like a juniors small.

Love it; would order again.
Love it! I ordered this sweater for a hiking & sight seeing trip with forecasted weather upper 30s to low 70s. I wanted this as a mid layer (over a t-shirt and under my rain jacket or jacket) so I ordered this a size up since I wanted it a bit loose. For this purpose it fits great! I ordered the large and I'm 5'6" and 140 pounds 34 C skinny upper build with wide shoulders. If you want it more tailored/fitted I'd get a medium. Its super soft and lightweight and looks classy without being too fancy. I absolutely love it and thinking about ordering it in a v neck in a medium as well.I also like that the crew neck is roomy and loose enough as I am typically uncomfortable with clothing around my neck. Perfect sweater.

Nice color & soft knit
I bought this in green. I love the color! It’s a nice soft sage. I bought two sizes, an extra small and a small. I’m normally a size small. The small fit me best, so I sent the other back. I like that this is 100% wool. It’s soft, a nice weave and is a good shirt for spring and fall.

Love it, but concerned about warning of Pilling; Moths; and Shaping problems that might come up.
5' 2, 130#, 36C, I got the size Large. I could have gotten by with a Medium, but the Large fits really good, and not too roomy. It is so comfortable. I like Merino Wool, and have had no problem washing the Morino Wool I own from IceBreaker. I put it in the washing machine, and then lay it out on my bed with the overhead fan on, and never have had a hole or shrinkage. I also have loved Merino wool from Icebreaker because they rave how the wool does not take on an order and you can hang it and air it out with no need of washing it between wearings, as long as you don't spill spaghetti sauce on it or something like that....But Knittons emails you a very involved Care Instruction list that actually scares me a bit. I hang my Merino Wool Icebreaker tops, but you must fold this brand. And then they scare me with the section on pilling and how to avoid pilling. But they say you can indeed expect pilling. Then they tell you how two reshape the item if it gets out of shape from hanging on a coat hanger. So, right now, on day one, I LOVE this top that feels so good to wear, and looks good with pants or a skirt. I am going to give it loving care, and hope the moths don't get to it, which it also warns you about. And I have never had a moth issue with Icebreaker.

The perfect merino wool sweater
I love the look and feel of merino wool. I bought this sweater especially for winter travel. Although many reviewers said to size up, I bought a size small and love the look and feel of it. I am 5'8" and 135 pounds with a smallish frame. The sweater is perfect through the shoulders, the right length for my long arms, and the length is just right to tuck into the front of a pair of pants. It works with a camisole under it and I think it would work with a blouse too. The fabric look and weight is absolutely a dream. When I need a merino wool top, I would not hesitate to order from this company again.

Would recommend
I'm 5'4 180lbs, 36D, curvy. I purchased the large orange. The sizing is perfect for me. It's a bit form fitting, but still loose enough to be flattering. It hits right about the hip line (same as model in picture). Color is also just as pictured. Company has been in touch regarding order & have even emailed care instructions. Appear to be a very proactive company & desire a happy customer. Would recommend.
