Happy Birdday, Tacky! (Tacky the Penguin) Hardcover – Picture Book, May 14, 2013

This book reminds me of my first husband. Crazy. Love it!!!

Tacky is the cutest penguin ever! His stories have always made my first grade students & myself laugh. The illustrations are so cute and detailed as well- super combination of author & illustrator!

My 3 year old grandson loves these books. I’m not sure we have them all but close.

I think all of the Tacky books are very cleverly written and endearing to children and adults. Tacky is just happy to be himself, different from the other penguins; he’s funny, loud, brave, odd. My toddler granddaughter is fixated on Tacky’s misadventures and the books’ artwork.

The Tacky series is so cute! Love to read these with my son.

I have always loved the Tacky series reading it to my students and now my kids. All of these books are fun, playful and positive! This one is a great birthday gift or fun to read on a kids birthday!

My 7 year old boy loves all the Tacky Penguin books! My son goes to a Christian school. His classroom teacher invited a local pastor to come in and read. The pastor chose to read the Tacky Penguin series. He encourages students to be the person God created them to be, even if it’s odd. 😊

I read Tacky when I was a little kid and I got the original Tacky book for my 5 year old daughter, she loves it and picks it out almost every night when we read to her. For her 6th Birdday we got her this one as she asked for another Tacky book and we love it, they are such fun books to read and very cute, Tacky is the best.

The Tacky books are colourful, fun and entertaining and Tacky always comes out on top. Shows that even if you are a bit different, you can still be a star. What a great lesson for little toddlers.
