THE OTHER TIDE Hermit Crab Shells Up-Sizing” Pack - 3 Shells

This product was terrible. It doesn’t even closely resemble the picture and the shells were damaged / cracked. They were dirty and smelled bad as well.

These are not measured correctly for Hermit Crabs. Which leaves you thinking that you've ordered the size you need but what you actually receive is way too small. With the entire shell as a whole being the size of the opening you are actually needing. Very misleading and deceptive.

The shells are beautiful, sturdy, and decently sized. There’s a bit of weight to them and seem like they’re overall good quality. The only problem I have is that one of them (the white one) has a tiny hole in it as seen in the picture. There are also cracks on the outside of the shell with the holes (also seen in the picture)Update: if you’re using them for hermit crabs, please rinse them out GOOD because there is enough sand in the shells to start a miniature beach! It may take a couple of times and make sure to wash the crevices as well. I had to get water in the shells and shake them up about 6 times to get all the sand out. The good thing is that as soon as I put them into the terrarium, both my hermies were on top of the shells and were checking them out. They’re super picky and both found a shell from the order that fits them.

Sizes were way off. Too small

I bought three shells, and the most suitable one has a hole, which can not be used by the hermit crab. Moreover, unlike the blue color in the photo, the shell is actually a little greyer and not so bright.

It took me multiple tries to find shells that my hermit crab liked, until thankfully I found this pack! Only bummer is that a few were chipped upon delivery, and the shells are relatively thin. Thankfully the one he picked seems to be holding up well, and the large variety made up for the few damaged. Overall happy with the purchase.

These were not at all what was pictured. And where not as heavy and sturdy as I expected.

These shells are not at all colorful. All shells were small and look like someone sent them directly from the beach, no polish, no effort, no color just pure robbery. Save yourself the money and feeling of stupidity. These came with a bit of sand in the bag indicative of picking them out the sand and throwing them in a bag with a shipping tag.
