AMANO FPT80 BIOMETRIC

Slightly difficult to set up and the machine has a lot of trouble recognizing some people's finger prints.

Reporting features not good

I like the clock but not the company. I bought the FPT-80 and got it running with the support of the company but after about 4 months I lost my hard drive on the computer that I had it hooked up to and that is where the problems began. I could not find the Disc that had the program on so I called Amano customer support. They told me that they woulld send me a paper that I had to fill out and send in with $75.00 to receive a new disc. I told them I had to do payroll and needed it right away. But they said that's hhere policy. What a rip off $75 for a replacemend disc that I had already paid for! Then they told me their service is good for only 30 days and if I needed help setting up the program again it would cost me another $90.00. Also the program has no built in way of backing up the data so I lost all the year to date info and had to reinstall all the employee data. I call this "Very Poor Customer Support" Not a company I will buy from again.

Not user friendly but there is some "support" when you call in. Just got to keep calling in for help.
