First cut gloves that live up to the hype.
I've been buying various different cut resistant gloves gradually over the past three years. It's more a hobby than a requirement for my profession since I am a machinist. So I've tried several gloves. Established brands, Chinese fly by night companies, cheap, expensive, All the cool military and NASA type high tech materials like aramid, kevlar, etc. I'm pretty well educated in stupid gloves. These are leather goats skin I think shell with a sewn in liner to reinforce the natural cut resistance of animal hide.In my experience, most cut resistant gloves that offer a high level resistance or a large mass rating are typically a knit type of stretchy glove, maybe dipped in nitrile or something. The other materials are usually lower rated and much less robust than the protection offered by the knit style because of how well they're able to blend in the special materials with the glove itself I guess. It's a much more effective strategy compared with gluing or stitching a liner into a regular glove. These are different. These gloves are really in a league of their own in regards to the other big brands like Youngstown or ironclad. Really any I've tried. Nothing really ever defeated the knit gloves except for being so filthy that you get new ones honestly, but these are like a fortress on your hands. Nothing has even visible penetrated all the leather yet and I've been abusing these gloves for over two months. I feel like these mothers will hold water if I fill them up. I was not expecting this. I tore any other glove to shreds in three weeks max aside from the godlike filthy knit ones. This isn't even one of their high level gloves, but trust me. Cut level 7 in this glove is not represented on the scale that others gloves use. Like 13 or something at least. Btw, this model was less than 25 dollars for the chrome series 4066. I'm impressed and super excited to try what I consider to be their flagship cut gloves in the 4023 style that is made from their proprietary fabric and claims it's two levels stronger than this type. Pretty costly though at 60 dollars a pair, so hopefully Hexarmor are as consistent as they are honest. Wouldn't buy anything but these for cut resistance and general durability but they're not heat resistant. They offer those and I will know eventually, but these were my first product from Hexarmor. I'm a little suspicious about most cut resistant gloves that aren't knit historically, but these gloves outshine even those because they don't soak up oil and get stretched out. Best cut gloves imo, head and shoulders above everything else I've tried excluding the lack of any heat resistance. Hexarmor are the only people selling cut gloves that aren't lying to you or fleecing you or both. Trust me.

Durable
With protection, some dexterity is compromised. These are comfortable and are not as restrictive as others I have tried. I purchased these after an incident that cut the palm of my hand. With these I have no fear of getting my hands cut again.Great gloves.

Resists thorns but thin leather
I bought these to protect my hands during blackberry removal. I followed the sizing instructions and the fit was acceptable. The palm and inside of the fingers do have puncture protection but the sides of the fingers do not. I was able to grab thorny vines but still got poked a few times on the sides of my fingers. The leather outer is thin which makes it flexible but not very durable. My gloves already show tears in the leather. I wish they'd just used thicker leather, maybe cowhide instead of goatskin, to make them more durable. Still, where they are 'armored', they do the job of protecting my hands from thorns.

Pleasant surprise
I had low expectations of these low cost gloves. They are very good…with a padded layer and strong leather outside these gloves are great for most typical yard work. I have not used while lifting sinder blocks which will be the harshest test but none of the other leathers(buffalo, pig, cow, kangaroo) have lasted through such work.
