Global Specialty Products 2' X 4' 12" Square Pattern Thermoformed White Styrene Panel

Extremely thin material, really, really thin - almost like a piece of notebook paper thin. Bought one sheet to experiment with along with some foam tiles and some plastic PVC tiles as well that are imitation copper. This larger panel is just too flimsy and poorly made to be of any practical use. Tried painting it with some latex to see if that would improve its appearance, but it still looks like extremely cheap painted plastic with poorly defined details - will not be using it.Even better, mine came folded over in a square box, so it was bent in half when delivered and creased in the center right off-the-bat! Material is so thin, that line will never come out. Save your money, buy something a bit more heavy-duty.

The panels come folded over in a box. They are very thin sheets and need to be attached with a strong adhesive. On the other hand, I needed to give the appearance of an old tin ceiling in a restaurant bathroom to match the other ceilings and do so quickly and at a reasonable cost. These panels were priced much lower than alternatives and when my contractor finished, they looked just like the other ceilings.

So i waited to post this review until after i received my Styrofoam ceiling tiles (R 08 Styrofoam Direct Glue Up Ceiling Tile (20x20) so i can compare. I like this material better to work with, I spray painted it with some 2x rustoliam copper, metal, green/blue to get a antique silver vibe. Only complaint was when my brother and I tried to glue it using liquid nail stuff and it wouldnt hold to popcorn. I grabbed my staple gun and got it up there, cat see the staple. Im ordering the rest to fill my art studio now, ill update with finished process. p.s. Those Styrofoam ones are nice, but the spray paint ate them up, i think my gray primer spray paint worked, so should be able to paint now.
