Great addition to the series
I'm not much into competition, so I don't pay attention to the allowed numbers, but the new family element adds a fun twist when playing appropriate cards. Families weren't available in the first series of cards. Some cards state when you play another card of a certain family, gain some ability/action. It adds little challenge without changing the game entirely. A nice addition.
