The first time I used this product was on a chip bag and I was amazed by it. Later down the road, I used it on a thin plastic bag. I did a quick swipe and it completely melted the plastic until there was a hole in it and it was unusable. I felt like it was an issue with how I was using it or the bags I was using, so I switched to the bags that came with it and it essentially did the same thing. The trick with this product is after two bags, unplug it because it overheats, and then plug it back in and continue. It's tedious, but I didn't expect miracles with the price.

Gets hot, seals most plastic bags some melt too fast need to hold for one second instead of three with those plastics. sometimes it gets stuck closed with melted plastic but it never stays stuck on, it comes right off. there’s definitely a learning curve.Good with chip bags works best with clear crisp plastic bags like tortilla chip Bags. Don’t hold closed too long for Doritos or those kinds of plastic bags just one or two seconds is enough and don’t over lap.

Came just as pictured.The plug is my only issue.I have to prop it up, for it to stay in my outlet.Other than that,it works great.Heats up fast.It fits in my crossbody purse.Loved the lil bags that were included.

It is a flat iron - but yet works very well

I was so excited to get this, but unfortunately this is not really stronge enough to seal my cookie bag, so sad.

Easy to use and works well to seal chip type bags.

I love this little mini heat sealer! It's so easy to use. Comes nicely tucked into a small carrying case that fits into a drawer or storage box. I have mine in my Tupperware box with my cookie decorating supplies. The heat sealing "head" is about 3 or so inches. But you can still seal larger bags. I made the mistake of holding it closed too long and my cellophane bag just wouldn't seal. But when is heated up, you really only need 3-4 seconds to seal nicely. A great little sealer that protects my cookies in little baggies for customers.

It’s complete garbage. I used it about 5 times. Then the guts fell out while I was using it. Burned my fingers.
