Scanfob 2006 Bluetooth Barcode Scanner

Product is pricey but support for this is fantastic... You call and usually (not always) there is no que to wade thru on the phone... Support usually answers directly which is amazing.I have used this in Serial Magic Mode and in HID Mode and find the HID a wee bit more stable when i have the Scanfob blue tooth connected to my smartphone... but you have to learn how to do all that with their literature and help from support.I also purchased the rubber safety covering to protect the little fob guy and also bought the belt clip reel that allows you to clip it to your belt or belt loop and use it quickly... scan 5 or more items... and then let it go and it drops back to your waist where it is safe and easy to get to for the next scan... that it VERY efficient.

I highly regret buying this scanner. It continually disconnects from my phone after just a few scans (it says it is connected, but stops reading barcodes and flashes yellow) and the only way to reconnect is to restart the phone. They were no instructions included to turn off the beep when it scans, and the barcode I printed from the sellers website does not work either. Lastly, for almost $300 I would expect the device to be made of sturdier material than cheap plastic. Scanning barcodes with my phone's camera is faster and more reliable than this.

The scanner did not read or function properly. I purchased this scanner with the hopes of it working with my Iphone 8 plus but unfortunately, it did not connect to it. I scanned the barcodes on the instructions and they did not work. The instructions that came with the scanner which indicated downloading an application but of course there was none in the Apple store. I called customer service as well and they did not have an answer to my questions. The item also came in a flimsy cardboard box, almost like someone took out the real box of a brand new item and poured the contents into cardboard container and handed it to you. Not happy. I wasted my time and energy and had to return it.

I had purchased a cheap scanner and it was so hard to use so I purchased the Scanfob 2006 and I love it so far . I use it mostly for my book buying but am starting to use it at checking out R/A deals. It was not to hard to set up and I am not a tech person so I was thankful for that. This scanner was easy to set up and picks up the barcodes as soon as I hit the button. My other cheap scanner would take a long time to read the barcode if it even read it at all.

I love it, this barcode scanner has been working perfectly the last few weeks. It saves me so much time and makes job alot easier. It’s rather small & compact can be carryed around in my pocket easily not so bulky.

Once I learned what to expect from this gadget, it now meets my expectations very well

This thing scans 8-10 barcodes...maybe more, for each one you try to scan with your phone.
