No quality control. I guess these are mass produced in China? The magnets in the back are glued in crooked, which causes them to NOT rest flush against the dishwasher, which drastically reduces the intended magnetic contact. Dried glue on the back also. Crooked magnets means less contact means it slides around easy.

Received this yesterday and immediately attached to the dishwasher. Love the font size as it's easy for older eyes to see. The back is entirely magnet and sticks great. The slider works easy from clean to dirty. Recommended if your family keeps re-washing clean dishes or putting dirty in with clean.

I purchased this for my mother who is always putting dirty dish from the sink into the dishwasher since some of the household residents will accidentally close the dishwasher door all the way shut if grabbing a single clean dish turning off the clean light. She absolutely loves this and has cut down any need to move dirty dishes from the sink to the dish washer. The large letters and very helpful red (dirty) green (clean) is very easy for my grandmother to see since her eyesight is not the best. Right before she starts a load of dishes she will switch the sign form dirty to clean to prevent anyone from placing dirty dishes with the clean after the cycle finishes. When she's putting up clean dishes she will then slide from clean to dirty to alert anyone that dishes are now safe to put into the dishwasher. She has a stainless steel dishwasher and the magnets worked perfectly for her. If for some reason the magnets are not working for you they have included double sided sticky tape to adhere the sign to your dish washer

I love it as I don't have to open the dishwasher to find out that they're dirty dishes inside. But not always. My wife thinks it's funny and will sometimes does not change it from clean to dirty. When I take out a dirty glass to use she starts laughing.

Bought this magnet a year ago because I lived with roommates and we never knew if the dishes were clean or dirty, so we kept unnecessarily mixing up dishes. It's a strong enough magnet for me! It will slide around if you put it in the middle of the dishwasher, but if you have it in the corner next to the borders it doesn't move. The slider moves very easily, I don't fight with it at all! And it's bigger than I thought it would be! So it's hard to miss it! If I had to I would buy again!

I had purchased the magnet that films over and my family ignored it. My friend suggested this and it works great! It's big enough to catch your eye so you remember to flip it. I haven't had to hear "Does this say clean because I can't tell?" I read the reviews on the knock off Dish Nannies and there seems to be a problem with the cover sliding back and forth when you put dishes into the washer. The original does not do that. It's easy to use and very good quality. The Dish nanny also came with Velcro so people could put it over the magnets if they don"t have a metal dishwasher front. The magnets on the back are big and hold the sign well. The extra $2 you spend on the original is well worth the money!

It was a bit pricey, BUT we absolutely love it. It's a good construction, not cheap.... it has saved us money though, because with multiple generations, multiple dishwashers at my house, we are able to keep track of the dishes... no more rewashing clean dishes! :)
