Good Kit
These are perfect for what I need. Although a bit larger than the more common trays, they still fit on a windowsill and the clear dome works perfectly to keep moisture in, saving a lot of watering time. The basin is sturdy while the dome is a bit thinner. All the domes fit tightly without any problems. The vent adjustment is a little difficult to pop into place and doesn't turn easily but overall this is an excellent product.Update: The little cap adjustment is much easier to install if you install the dome first or sit it on a solid surface. I was trying to install it while holding the dome in my hand. Not the product's fault.

Worth the money
I thought they were a bit pricey but have been very pleased now that I have them. Only wish I had bought more. They are very sturdy, and the design has been well thought out. I have been gardening for many years and always start the year with planting a lot of seeds. This year I have been having good success with the seeds started in the Opulent seed starter system. Seeds have germinated well using the little round plastic vent cover which allows you to control the humidity for each tray. Once the seeds have sprouted, the plastic lid helps to keep the plants just a tab bit warmer and protected until they get strong enough to stand on their own. I do like the flexibility of the smaller trays as you can manage those finicky seeds a bit easier. Highly recommend.

More a sprouting system than anything else
I'm reviewing this as though I bought it at its current price (25 usd as of 4-6-20).The trays don't conform to standard 6 cell tray dimensions--they're a little shorter, almost as though they were designed for 1 sq. inch rockwool instead of soil. So you'll need to transplant out sooner than you might with regular six-cell trays. The idea of a base and dome around the seed tray is cute and seems to work well for germination. The dome is very flimsy, though, and the vents only kinda work if you can fit the vent selector spinner into the malformed selector circle. This is the weakest point of the product. If you leave the cells in the tray too long the roots may grow out below the cells and cause transplant shock when potting up due to root damage when pulling the roots out of the tray, so be cautious.I paid 16 usd for the 10, and that was a good deal. At time of writing it's sitting at 25 usd, which is about where I'd say the price basically evens out with the value. I don't think I'd pay more for this than 25, but at 25 I'd be mostly satisfied. At 20 usd I would be happier.

Easily damaged, including during shipment
These look nice and work well but they are not very sturdy and some were damaged in shipment. A few of the white holders actually leak, rendering them useless.

Very durable and functional with useful tools
Great product for the price. Comes with a fork-like tool that is perfect for taking seedlings out of the tray to plant without crinkling or breaking the plastic tray in the process. Worked perfectly to start my pepper seeds last year and I’ll be using them again this year.

Damaged seed trays sent to me -- situation resolved quickly
I received the seed trays very quickly but there is a problem. The box was not damaged but all the seeds trays were damaged. The sides were pushed in, especially the edges on all the pieces. They were bent permanently as if something heavy had been laid up against the sides for a long time. I tried to bend them back out squarely and also tried adding heat to bend them back using a hair dryer but to no avail. The problem with the side lips permanently bent in when the top is placed onto the seed tray and the white bottom it doesn't fit and doesn't seal which is the purpose of creating a "greenhouse" effect.. It's odd damage so I am guessing it was done in storage and not in shipping. Now they are not useable. Please resolve. The seller replaced the seed trays very quickly and they work perfectly as designed--- 5 star service!!!!! Would buy again.

Unusable Covers and Not Durable but They Work
Pros:* It can be used to grow seedlings* Cheaper (not worth it in my opinion)Cons:* Very thin plastic used for coverings that arrived warped and made them practically useless (picture included)* Inner tray (black part) slides around and is not snug (picture shows all the way in one corner); this is more of an annoyance than a functional problem when your carrying this around with real seedlings* Plastics used for all materials are thinner than competitors (MIXC and those sold at stores), so I don’t expect more than one season out of theseI have MIXC seedling trays (also sold on Amazon) that are the same that are worth the few extra dollars if you would like a working cover and plan to use these more than once.

Look good, work well!
Product arrived quickly and packaged well. The hand tools ("Dibber" and "Widger") worked very well for planting seeds. Made it very easy to distinguish the 10 different types of peppers i'm growing, instead of having to mark each different type across one gigantic tray. The trays are visually appealing instead, and the logo on the top of each Humidity Dome looks pretty cool too. The only worry i have is that the lids do not "snap" on, they just rest on top of the trays. It's nothing a tab of scotch tape won't fix though, just be careful on windy days when hardening saplings outside. Would definitely recommend this for those both experienced and new to growing :)
