It really works! UPDATE!
Pros:This fountain has made it through multiple overnight freezes and is still pumping! With the slightest sunbeam it starts churning away once the water is thawed. It truly has a powerful pump and some of the head settings shoot water 12+" in the air--the water is getting circulated! It does exactly what we hoped it would do, and so far the birds seem to like it.CONS:You need to carefully choose a head combo. And location. And tether it in the center of your birdbath. Ours is now wedged in the center of the birdbath with rocks because it drifted to the side and emptied the bird bath several times. The suction cups are useless honestly. I have had to remove all the heads and just let it burble, every setting has the water spraying too high and out of the bird bath. I do NOT think this will work well for a small bird bath AT ALL for this reason. The slightest wind and water drifts and you are refilling the bird bath constantly. It is in a 24" shallow basin now because I was so annoyed with the wasted water. However I HATE the noise this makes if the birdbath gets low--because it pissed all the water off the side. TWICE I have had it dry pump--and it is not pleasant. The first time I spent over an hour trying to figure out what the heck was making that noise. I didnt know it is was a neighbors house alarm or a wounded cat, but it was SUPER annoying and loud enough that it could be very clearly heard through the windows.OVERALL: This works! There is a learning curve to make it work perfectly, but now that we have that all sorted, it is fine. We moved the birdbath into a new location, and actually built a whole new bird bath that was wide and shallow. We always add rocks to our bird bath for the birds to walk and land on, so it wasn't a huge deal that the suction cups on the bottom are useless. It is now wedged in the middle of the bath and it is fine. I do not see how this could ever possibly work in a vintage cement bird bath as it was originally purchased for, but a bit of research and we built a better bird bath. So far only the mourning doves have visited it, but I have hopes there will be more birds visiting as temps warm up.UPDATE: It stopped working! I looked outside and saw it was doing nothing! O-M-G I was wild! I stomped outside with my mad feet and started threatening the pump with various forms of injury---and umm...yeah....it was the birds fault NOT the pump!It is now May, and we have MANY migrating birds in our new bird arena (formerly the side yard) They LOVE the bird bath fountain! I have doves, robins, cardinals, chickadees, goldfinch, jays, grackles, cowbirds, starlings (UGH!) and even squirrels using this DAILY. I had feathers clogged in the bottom of the pump! Two seconds later the pump was cleared and working again! I LOVELOVELOVE this pump!FYI: I recently had our first ever Grosbeak at the fountain happily splashing away! Love this so much my mother is buying one for her yard! :)

Cute water feature!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I purchased this to use in my birdbath and couldn’t wait to use it. The day of delivery was overcast, and when I assembled and placed the fountain in my birdbath, it only pulsed every 3 seconds. However, the next day was bright and sunny and the fountain had a continuous sprinkle of water. The only drawback so far is that once you connect the nozzle, it is extremely difficult to remove. Have a good idea of which when you want to use before you put it in place. I also added rocks to keep the wind from blowing it to the edge and emptying the water.

UPDATE: Short life
8/19/19 Update: Earlier this month, the fountain I had ordered in April stopped working. I'm guessing maybe the motor burned out, maybe the water in my bird bath got too low or it was a defective piece or the product isn't made to last...? I made sure the water intake was clear and did what I could to clean the unit and rinse it with clean water, but nothing worked. I contacted Amazon and, even though it's past the 30-day return period, they're letting me return the broken unit for a refund. I'll be purchasing something similar, but likely a different brand and hoping for a different result. Having a fountain in my bird bath that works versus one that does nothing definitely makes a difference in the water {and the fountain} staying clean and not getting gross so fast.Initial review: I like all the different heads that come with this fountain {though there are a couple that might scare off birds more than attract them} and it started spurting water the second I took it outside- before it was even in the bird bath. I saw a review where someone had put aquarium stones in their bird bath to keep the fountain from floating to the side and shooting water out of the bird bath; I have the fountain confined to the center by four small rocks and this does help reduce the amount of water loss. I bought it at the same time as a 14" diameter bird bath, then returned that for a 20" diameter bird bath because some of the attachments for this fountain spurted water right out of smaller one. I haven't seen any birds check it out yet, but it's been fun to watch the fountain while I wait for them to find it. The fountain does work when it's overcast or the sun is setting, but the power and consistency of the water flow is decreased. Sometimes even in bright sunlight, the water shoots out more in rapid spurts of varying heights than a constant stream at the same height. This probably wouldn't be an issue with an electric or battery-powered fountain, but I prefer to rely on the power of the sun. The first three pics are with the 14" bird bath, the last one is with the 20" bird bath.

Just a squirt for the birds
Small, lightweight, easy to assemble. However, even on the sunniest of days I don't get a steady water stream, just a spit of water a second. I wanted something to float in my small pond. It floats well. I wanted something to aerate the pond, I don't think this is strong enough.Edit: now that the Florida sun is out in strength, on sunniest days I get a full stream about 18" diameter. If overcast, just spits water. Floats well, does not appear to clog much like other fountains in same pond.

Fun Addition to Bird Bath
Easy to assemble and set up in minutes. It’s a very nice addition to my bird bath.

Easy to assemble and install
I have a bird bath on my deck, it’s made of plastic, so the suction cups on the fountain don’t stick well. No big deal, it floats just fine. I tried several spouts and found the grey tops work best for my needs. The black sprayers basically end up spraying outside of the bath, so it goes dry, fast. Great value for the price.

Works only for the utopic gardens
1. If you use the product in a real bird bath ( with about 10 inches diameter) and if your garden is windy, stay away from this product, the wind will send the water out of the bath and it will empty really fast when under full sun.I bought really large bird baths more than 20 inches diameter and still the water goes fast away .2. On a glass recipient the suction pads of the pump are not able to maintain it in the middle of the recipient. So even if you have a large recipient and the pump moves off center you get back to the problem 1.The idea is really great and I was very enthusiastic about it, but facing the reality I regret paying the money. If the above problem points are solved, you will be very happy with the fountain... if!!!!I have no complaint about the vendor or the delivery
