Unit works fine, albeit it can be confusing to initially program, but once you get the "hang of it" it's easy. So far so good.

At first I was overwhelmed with the programming of the timer, however, after adjusting my attitude and the times I had set it really wasn't difficult at all. It's quiet and automatically adjusted for daylight savings time. I like it, but don't really need the 15 or so different time settings for just one light

Bought two of them just over 3 months ago. It could have been more intuitive to program, but it wasn't impossible to figure out. However, my rating (1 star) is based on the fact that of the two that I purchased, one of them has already stopped working. And after 30 days, there is no way to contact the seller or Amazon to return or exchange. I can accept a product failing after 3 months, but I can not accept that they do not support the product. If you're looking for a timer, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Like the fact that time has a long life battery (said to be 100 days) to accommodate power failures; recharges when power restored. Unit arrived with clock running on battery so it has to be fairly long life. Very functional on timing options. Setup instructions a little sparse but still understandable.

OK as a basic timer but less so as a 7 day. The programing process is awkward / complicated and the instructions are inadequate. It claims to have a manual override switch which is not true.

Very simple and useful , the only thing is the labels are dissapearing but it's normal from something you handle daily, it really helps me to program a little stove, lights and even the iPhone charging overnight

Had trouble with it right out of the box. It would not come on at all. Had to hold the reset button actually get it to come on. And the instructions do not tell you to do this. Once I got it all set up it failed to work properly. I turned it to auto and the device I plugged in automatically came on instantly. So the program feature is faulty. I am sending it back. This is the second timer of a similar design but different company that has done the same thing.

It works well. My guess is it will last as long or longer than the mechanical type. If the LCD display starts to fade out, plug it into charge the internal batteries.
