Does "dimmable" mean can use in lamp with 3-way crank knob- High, Med, low?

No. It can only be dimmed with a solid state dimmer control like a dimmer wall switch.

Do these work with ceiling fans?

Due to the larger size bulb in comparison to an A15, this may not properly fit under a light kit (too big). Please check the specifications of your ceiling fan for the proper bulb to use.

What is the height of the bulb? I have a weird lampshade that the bulb will hit the bottom if too tall.

These bulbs are roughly the same size as old 100 watt bulbs, are not glass but plastic but shades fit just like they did on the older bulbs

Can these no longer be shipped to California?
