Women's Studies in Religion

I am taking a college class with one of the authors of this book so it's not surprising that this is the text. I was quickly drawn into the stories that are presented. The book is a compilation of women's stories of their experiences with mainstream religions. I have learned a great deal about religions I wasn't familiar with and the stories reaffirmed my feelings about faiths that I am experienced with. If Women's Studies is an interest of yours, I would recommend this book. The only warning is that some of the pieces written are very academic in nature and maybe tough to read.

I ordered this for a college class and was pleasantly surprised at the variety of insights in this book. While some are definitely written in a pointlessly confusing manner just to sound more academic, it is a great way to get a quick taste of many different religions.
