yet another RJ classic
There is only one complaint about this book; it's way too short. We have here a vers well written suspense novel, that happens to contain a (gay) love story. The main thing is not the gayness of the story, but the suspense and the story about how one person can have control over someone else, even though that makes absolutely no sense to an outsider.Reading this story puts yet another level to the understanding of how the human mind can and will be manipulated, even if it beggars belief. It's one of these rare books that are written so well that it lets you picture the scenes on your inner movie screen as you read it, or in this case on ones inner TV screen, as this would make a wonderful base for another episode in the could-very-well-be brilliant TV series 'the body guards'. There is soon much potential in this author and this series. Please some producer pick it up.

Edge of My Seat
In this story Ben from BI meets Daniel at the Ex Factor tv show where singers compete. The BI were actually there for the judges protection. Ben was on a break went into a dark room and he's asked not to turn the lights by Daniel. Daniel was one of the contestants and he was hurt pretty bad. He asks Ben to tell them he would be ready for the final. Ben tries to help him and Daniel says no, he'd be alright. After the show Ben tucks one of his cards in Daniel's back pocket and tells if he needs help to call him. Several months pass before Ben hears from him. The had action, suspense and romance. I enjoyed this book, it kept me on the edge of my seat. Good read.

Well written story about escaping from abuse
It was almost painful to read this story. Reading about abuse always is. It makes me angry, too. I feel the author had handled this issue very well.I have met enough victims of abuse that I recognize the description in this story as believable.Daniel has been trapped in this vicious situation for a long time. Abused, manipulated, misused in all ways by a violent man, he had slipped into misuse of "usual" painkillers. Decision to participate in a song contest is perhaps the best decision of his life, even if it "earns" him a lot of beating.Ben is a bodyguard and assigned to one of the judges of the same song contest. Although Daniel had already on his own started his way out of the violent relationship, he needs support, lots of it. Not someone who will make decisions for him, not another person to manipulate him, but someone who understands, someone who catches him when he falls. A task Ben is excellent at, in more than one way.

Another Super Book by this author it is similar to book one but it is so different.
Another Super Book by this author it is similar to book one but it is different. In this book Ben a Bodyguard and Daniel a young male singer. The only difference between the tow books is in this book Daniel is involved in an abusive relationship with a guy named Cam who is using Daniel for money and keeping Daniel hung out on drugs.Ben and Daniel meets when Daniel is involved in a show in England like America got Talent and Ben knows something is wrong and tries find out but when he finally does Daniel is all most dead from a over dose of some type of drugs. Ben takes Daniel out of the room and helps him to to get straighten out and get his life back on the road to recovery in both singing and getting his life back to normal and help get Cam put in prison. But in the end Daniel falls for Ben and in doing so he he learns that love is not abusive and cruel but caring and loving. When Daniel learns this he able to grow and become the man he wants to be and be able to love Ben and Ben learns he can love Daniel for who he is both as a client and lover.I highly recommend this book after you read book one because in book one you learn about the characters and how they work with each other and the learn about Bodyguard Inc.

A healthy and welcome dose of Romance+Happily Ever After
It was a really nice and gripping read. And I should say I found this book somewhat more plausible and believable than the Bodyguard to Sex God. This one also serves a very noble purpose of attracting attention to the plight of victims of domestic abuse. For that alone and for the hope it offers it is worth a praise, even though it has a number of issues that cost it the 5th star in my evaluation. They are the plausibility of the speedy recovery of the main character of something that resembles a severe and protracted history of abuse by his manipulative partner. Also, the portraits of his absolutely loving, lovable and supportive parents are hard to believe - their son is so susceptible to abuse for a reason and in the majority of cases they lie within the closest family, and the one in the book does not match the idea. But then there is the charming, loving, protective, and oh-so-understanding prince - the bodyguard himself - who is not just a piece of hired muscles but an emphatic psychotherapist as well... Also hard to come by in real life but then this is why we love stories like this. I vote 'yes'! :-)

Another great series by Miss Scott
Another great series by Miss Scott. Even though each story is a standalone with the exception of characters being mentioned in passing or cameos, I'm writing an overall series review and each book easily deserves a 5 bookmark rating. Many of us have some kind of bodyguard fantasy and with Bodyguards, Inc the reader gets a peak into the life of the occupation. Each book has a little bit of everything, mystery, intrigue, drama, love, with definite levels of hotness throughout. You might be thinking that what you have here is the Kevin Costner/Whitney Houston movie Bodyguard with a gay twist, the truth is there are some similar elements but really, this series has so much more depth and appeal with every page. Some say that relationships that are born during times of crisis and danger are not always everlasting but I think relationships, be it friends or lovers, can be built at any time and in these tales the author shows us how true it can really be.

Brilliant read
This is second in the bodyguards Inc, series. It tackles the taboo subject of domestic violence. Ben is a bodyguard and when he meets Daniel for the first time he suspects something is wrong. But it takes another 4 months and daniel almost dying for him to ask Ben for help.We watch the relationship unfold with the backdrop of Ben coping with what he went through.Once again RJ has written a brilliant book, highly recommend reading it.

Fantastic Read RJ Does It Again!
This book had me curling my toes at times as it hit too close to the truth for me. Fantastic read, I could not put it down (more so than usual) I am a great fan of RJ Scott and love her work. This book does it all as far as I'm concerned, I cannot wait for the next one in the series.

Great
This is a brilliant story that deals with the very real issue of domestic violence . It can have triggers and tear jerking moments but it's a well written story . I adored the two leads
