Sakura SS5258 Deluxe Full Car Cover, Grey, Large

I have bought four of these covers in the past, at about eighteen months intervals. The one I received this time is smaller, it no longer has tie down straps. It now has two eyes in the middle with no strap included. In a relatively low wind (with a strap added in the middle) it now blows off. Not happy. I'm going to have to add extra strap at both ends. They are now selling a product that is not fit for purpose.

First time buying a car cover, feels like a good material and has a soft side inside, so should not scratch car.Sizing is verh off! Got this in LARGE for a VW golf 2014, with great difficulty, even though, according to description the MEDIUM should have even ok,

Positives: Design, Quality, Value for money. two straps front and rear well placed.Negatives: Small in size - the large cover ordered barely fits med size family hatchback. As a result, straps are stretched. Stitching has come undone as a result and had to be re-stitched by hand.

For the price, this cover works very well and has coped admirably with the torrential rain in Lancashire this winter. Yes. there has been some seepage through the cover, mostly where the vent allows rain to be blown in, but not unexpected, considering the conditions. The small size is pretty much a perfect fit for my MGF and would suit any similar vehicle (MX5 etc).

It ripped within the first month. We bought it to cover a small car left outside our house. First it flapped around in the wind so we tightened it. Then the wind got under it ( it was parked in front of out front door so quite protected) although this is a built up street in the midlands not a windy area. The wind ripped the elastic away from the body of the plastic material. Not really strong enough to be an cover for external use.

I am very pleased with this cover for my Mini. It fits well and is easy to get on and off. It has kept the dust and rain off my car and stopped the crows from attacking it too!

Bought for Micra. very good fit and most of all a lot easier to put on than any others I have had. Updated a few days later. Winds last night caused the elasticated edging to rip away for a couple of feet taking one of the attachment points with it. Most disapponting to say the least. This does not seem to be a rare problem.

Good Protection, thick layer, time will tell if any defects appear, bit of a tight fit on (Mazda 3 fastback 2.2D 2014)Anything longer than my car, then your going to struggle, Shame there's no XL Version. Overall So far So Good
