This is almost difficult to describe. Its actually like a gag gift. It's such a piece of junk. With a new set of batteries..the wheel doesn't have the power or speed to scratch my pugs nail nevermind file it. I honestly do not know what this pile of poo is even made for. Its totally and completely useless..Again , its like a gag gift or something. The grinding wheel stops cold as.soon as ANY pressure is put against it.It cant even scratch the nail..Why is this even a legitimate product???DO...NOT..GIVE ..THIS..COMAPNY..OR PRODUCT..1 DOLLAR OF YOUR MONEY..IF IT WERE FREE IT WOULD STILL BE TOSSED IN THE TRASH!!!

I purchased one of these in the past, it did work on my large dogs nails. I thought again as I now have a small dog however the new purchase did not work any better on smaller puppy nails. I will just go back to taking my pet to the vet for nail clippings.

I had heard many good things about this product, but was very disappointed in its actual performance. The noise scared my dog and there was absolutely no "ease" in inserting my dog's nail and trying to hold the dog while filing the nail. In fact, the filer didn't work fast enough to make any impact on my dog's nails at all. I finally gave up and paid to have the nails clipped.

The 'upgraded' version, or at least this one, wobbles so bad I could not use it... This was replacing one I have used for years, was solid, spun solid and felt solid... this one seemed very flimsy, the shaft that the 'grinder' wheel sat on seemed to stick out of the main casing much farther than the original... Having them replace it so we will see if it was just this one...

I liked how this fit in my hand, the noise wasn't too bad. But I turned it off and sat it on the couch to reposition my dog, and it rolled off onto a carpeted floor. It didn't appear damaged but it is now stuck on so I have to take out batteries and I can't change the speed. One star for poor durability of a PET product.

The head of this vibrates and bumps so erratically that it scares my puppers and sands unevenly. Sent it back immediately. I recommend the dremmel.

This died after only 6 months of use every 4 weeks. It has been sounding odd and spinning off kilter for they last two rounds of nail trimming, alas today it died officially. It stops itself immediately. Piece of junk. The real pedi paws lasted 5 years before dying.

Unfortunately the battery model of this does not put out enough power. It's not that it doesn't work it would if you could sit there for an hour and work on your dogs feet. The dog just can't stand it being used for that long. Quite frankly it's faster to just use a nail file. I had the model that plugged in before and it worked fantastic. This is a piece of junk.
