Babar's Little Girl Hardcover – Picture Book, March 1, 2012

Lovely book. Just be aware that in the beginning of the story, Babar's mother is shot and killed by a hunter! Much like the Bambi story. I had forgotten this and my daughter was shocked when she did a pre-read of the story before sharing it with my granddaughter.We are now a generation of less violent children's stories, so be informed!

Perfect condition

Book arrived quickly and in great condition. This was my favorite Babar book. Cant wait to share it with my step daughter!

I bought this because I came across a Babar book of collective stories centering around the little girl Isabelle. It was so sweet, I had to get it for my daughter. This is a single story about Isabelle and its really not that great of a story line. It's almost borderline odd... With Isabelle ending up at a house with two men who are friends of the family.

All the Babar books are lovely.

This delightful story is a complete ego trip for little girls who find themselves the youngest in a family of several siblings. It features many adventures, adoring older children, adoring parents, and a little girl who is the apple of everyone's eye. It also -- a bit subtly -- features beloved family friends who are a same-sex couple. This goes over the heads of the little ones.

My 3 year old neice, who loves Babar books, loved it.

Lovely story, with all the right messages for children! How parents worry when their children go missing! ( While the children have no idea, of course, and are just having a lovely time!) As ever, all ends happily in the Babar world...
