Rumble in the Jungle Board book – Picture Book, March 1, 2011

This delightful book is fun to read to children. It's just the right length for a bedtime story. It ends on with the animals going to sleep so it's easy to get the kids to pretend they're like the animals and tuck them in for the night. The illustrations are fun and have details for the kids to find on each page.

Bought this book entirely because it was one I remembered from my own childhood, as it stood out to me so well in memory. Illustrations are just as adorable as ever, and the poems make chanting through each page fun and easily invites making up music to match or use of onomatopoeia. Kid loves it. Mom loves it. Very happy this book is still being sold.

I can recite most of this book. It's catchy and so fun to listen to for the kiddos

This was my favorite book as a child, so of course I had to buy it for my daughter. Cute story and love finding the ants on every page

My neighbor gave me 2 books by the same author and illustrator (hard cover), Commotion in the Ocean and Baryard Hullbaloo. My girl absolutely LOVES these 2 books especially Commotion in the Ocean. Seeing as she loves these two I wanted to get Rumble in the Jungle, she is only 10 months so I got her a durable board book instead of a hardcore book cause I didnt want the pages to tear. I unwrapped it, showed her the book and she did a "OoOOOO!" face and crawled to me and we sat down and read the book.Mesmerized. The pages are colorful, the rhymes are fun and tuney. I ADORE these books. Ever time I turned the page she will open up her eyes to take in all the colors and I would watch her eyes dart from side to side to see the pictures. Then would babble something about the picture.. then would want to turn to the next page. I love love LOVE how each page I turn the colors are a little bit different, the scenery is different so there is a nice contrast been the page you are on and to the next. There is also a 'dark' page towards the end of the book where it is night time, she loves this page too (also in the other two books) I truely recommendd this book its amazing. It IS a little short but for a toddler whos attention span is limited its fabulous!

I absolutely LOVE this book! I also ordered the hand puppets I found also here on Amazon. It was a wonderful gift for a Precious Little One just born!

We love these rhymey-books by Giles Andreae. My son is on the autism spectrum (high functioning) and his most favorite book for a long time was Commotion in the Ocean (I HIGHLY recommend that one). This one is a close 2nd, He loves rhyme-books and this one fits the bill.

We love Giles Andraes books!! Commotion in the ocean, Giraffes can't dance and Rumble in the jungle! The rhymes are good and very entertaining! Great for toddlers!

これのボードブックを持っていますが、CDつきが欲しくてわざわざ海外の中古を高い価格で買いました。CDは雰囲気あって良かったです。よく聴いています。本の状態は海外から来たものだなという感じでしたが^^;CD聴ければ良かったのでまあいいかなと。

Mia figlia (3 anni e 1/2) lo adora e mi chiede spesso di leggerglielo come favola della buona notte. Bei disegni e deliziose le rime. Anche senza conoscere nel dettaglio tutti i vocaboli (per nulla banali) si capisce il senso grazie alla musicalità della frase.

Las ilustraciones son muy simpáticas y coloridas así que es perfecto para enseñárselo a los más chiquitines ya que les llamará mucho la atención, el texto en verso sin embargo está muy poco logrado, las rimas son bastante forzadas y el contenido, lo que dice el texto, no está pensado para que los pequeños lo entiendan.Aún así, por el precio, no está mal ya que es un libro de tamaño bastante grande (en tapa blanda) que enseñar a los más pequeños e inventarte tú tus propias historias.
