I bought some stronger double-sided tape to ensure that wouldn't happen again! There may or may not be some warning on the instructions to let the adhesive tape sit for a while before using, which Ill admit to not seeing. I put my window down a day or so after installing these, then began to raise it. I didn't notice that the shade had come loose in one spot and it got caught by the window. This resulted in a small piece being broken off and a few cracks in the area. Other than this little issue, the product is fine. They look great and are pretty easy to install.
