Mostly just examples, and limited ones at that
If you are having a classic wedding with the parents of the bride serving as hosts, this book is a good resource for possible wording. However, if your parents are divorced and remarried or someone else is hosting the wedding this book is not much help.

Great resource for wedding planning
I'm helping my best friend plan her wedding and neither of us knew the best way to address the invitations. I found this book and thought it was just what we needed. The book is very well written and not only has a full chapter of invitation wording, it has a lot of great information for planning the rest of the wedding. The information on venues, flowers and customs is excellent and answered a lot of questions for us. The author broke each part down into chapters, so it is easy to bookmark and relocate the sections that were of interest to us. The author was very thorough but kept his suggestions simple and clear. There is an entire chapter of suggestions for invitation wording, which was full of excellent examples and covered many situations that apply to the families. I would recommend this book to anyone planning a wedding.
