EAG Stubby Front Bumper with Fog Light Housing Fit for 18-22 Wrangler JL

Not a fan of the look of the brush guard for my Jeep. This stubby looks amazing. Doesn't take long to take off the front bumper set this one on in its place, but the extra time came from completely stripping the OG bumper to get the fog lamps and wiring from it to put in the new bumper. Holes lined up quite nicely, with a little help from a mallet for the final bolt. It would be amazing if they would have rolled a small steel channel for the fog light wiring, but just used a zip tie and black duct tape to set it against the bottom of the winch plate. Did NOT come with shackle rings, so be prepared to add them. It works out better that way so you can pick the color you want for your finished look.

I searched for a long time for a good light weight stubby. All I could find in the 40lb range were aluminum and over 1000 dollars. This one hits the mark. Perfect fit without mods. You do have to remove the metal brush guard under the bumper. I installed winch and fog lights before mounting total time for instal was around 2 hours. Was very easy and straightforward. Bumper seems to be quality. And is as light as they say. The instructions are very basic.

Good looking bumper BUT the D rings are not in the box. Some what easy to install. Need a second person to help hold three things to put the bolts in. The ends of the bumper, the middle and the D ring block. If they just tack weld the middle and end together would make it sooooo much easier to put on. But upset the D rings where not in the box.

Great stubby bumper for the price. 2021 JLU fog lights bolted up directly with no need for an adapter plate. As was stated in a previous review the the Apex 12,000 lb. winch did require some modification to get it to fit and the wiring does fit tightly against the grill (but I knew this was the case prior to purchase). If you are wanting a clean stubby bumper, with winch plate, without busting your budget, this is the one. Took me approximately 1.5 hours to install by myself (use of a floor jack needed). Great buy and have had many complements on its looks.

There's a lot to like about this bumper. The stubby look is cool. I also like the fact it keeps your winch below the grill. No need hiding a sweet grill right? Or block airflow. It carries a good price point as well.Let's talk ease of install. I'm really unsure why they made it a three piece. That wouldn't be a big deal either, except not all the holes lined up necessitating drilling out a couple.Despite the description saying it won't fit Rubicon models, it fits fine.Pay attention to the end cap markings. One is marked L and one R. I tend to think the one marked R would be the passenger side. This was not the case for mine, and turned into quite the fiasco. Apparently someone else thinks R is the right as you stand facing it.To sum, despite a couple nuances, I love the look and it's a great value.

The product quality control is so poor that the fog lights do not fit on one side. Do not buy!!!

I like this bumper a lot more than I thought I would. It installed in 30 minutes and looks great. I installed the winch and fogs first, then attached to the Wrangler. Everything lined up perfectly. I should mention that it is quite thin steel and will not take a hit or tree limb like other bumpers made from tube steel or thick plate. It's sturdy enough to stand on and will lighten up your front end if you have a steel recovery bumper already.
