Works well. No regrets.

Had to get a 1200 watt power supply for it but I got one from Parallel Miner for pretty cheap. After I plugged everything up it connected and started working with no trouble and it's operating at just under the advertised rate which is probably due to me running it in silent mode. The website you're supposed to use with it, myminer.io, appears to be dead, I'm not sure if it will come back but you don't really need it. Just use something like Spiceworks Agent to figure out the IP address the miner got assigned, copy and paste it into your browser, and sign in with admin as the username and password and you're good to go. You just have to pick a pool and set it up on that pool which is usually pretty easy.

Good hash, but need cool place to operate the optimum 1.7TH/s. I do my best around 1.65TH/s and the fan turn super loud. Juice electrical like it no cost, IMO 1.3TH/s is a vantage point for this gear, you could drive it with just a 850w psu. If you need to push it to 1.7TH/s, like I said, you need cold (like server room, control 18c at all time), and a 1600w psu.All in all, it built quality is better than Antminer and it setting is great with small detail adjustable or you can skip and use it profile too. But due to cost more electricity, !@$# loud and require cool space to meet the advertise hashrate, this would not a living room, office, or bedroom miner but a basement miner or garage miner or refrigerator miner or Alaska miner(with few solarcall) :-P

Good miner

Have one of these and a few Antminer S5 units. The SP20E does NOT usually manage the advertised 1.7 TH (might manage it if you have a COLD room to put it in), but it is a little more efficient in the 1.1-1.2 TH range that the Antminer S5 is capable of, and if you're willing to trade off some efficiency a SP20E DOES easily get into the 1.5 TH ballpark. The SP20E is FAR more configurable than a S5, quieter (though not QUIET, you don't want it in your bedroom), far more professional case setup that is designed to be stackable, somewhat longer. The only minus compared to the S5 is that a SP20E tends to be somewhat more expensive. The configurability will keep this unit profitable somewhat longer than the S5 by undervolting it, at the cost of reduced hash rate.

Getting that hash rate but noisy fans

Work great hashing 1.7 (after tinkering with settings a bit)The fan noise is a bit disappointing, it can be raised and lowered manually or set to auto but for the hash rate I'm going at it gets loud. 90 db right in front of it, at 5 feet 82 db and 20 feet its 60 db. Thats my only complaint, using 2 850 watt psu

Thermal dynamics is lacking

Thermal dynamics is lacking. The fans are louder than the delta 5400rpm 252 CFM and pushing only 150 CFM. These will not push 1.7 TH/s unless you are in a cold place and at max settings and stock configuration. Yes I mod them to keep them at max speeds at higher ambient temps. Beware that the copper plate to aluminum fins are not fused together. They are thermal pasted together and most of the copper plates are concaved. The aluminum base has grooves. None of the plates or fins are polished smooth and flat.

Bit rate is way lower than I expected

Indicates 1.3-1.7TH/s but actual payout bit rate is between 1.0-1.14TH/s (with overclocking). Way lower than I expected. That's also with latest firmware update installed. Below 1TH/s without overclocking. Kinda sad, especially with the falling Bitcoin value...forcing me to mine longer for less. Aside from that, machine is stable.

Powerful and Simple.

Works Great! We are using it in a data center environment so the fan noise doesn't matter to us. We set all of our fans to max regardless of the miner manufacturer. The SP20E user interface is much more robust than antminer 5. Tuning the overclocking was simple and straightforward. We're getting a stable 1.7TH with asic temps of 114c. We will be procuring these from now on rather than AM5's.

That fan is super strong, and capable of moving quite a bit ...

The SP20 Jacksion is my first "professional" attempt at a miner. Purchased off of ebay, I also picked up some Gigampz (used) as well, and combined one with one used DPS-800-GB A 1000w Server Power Supply. System works well, I do under clock though at around 1.2TH/s. I also ran this unit on my Corasir 750w power supply with the same clocking. You can see that the manufacturer put a lot of thought into the build, and even the use of their simple web page, and or SSH terminal. Literally takes a few moments to setup from scratch and it's mining for you. According to "slushpool" I'll be making my first payout (of around 24-28 bucks) within 2.5 weeks, and yearly it shows me making about 511 bucks. Of course this is not including power usage costs, though I'm goal is to keep that to a minimum as much as possible. Sound, yea -- I'd call it loud.. That fan is super strong, and capable of moving quite a bit of air. I have it running in the room next to me. My apartment is two stories, and the bedrooms are downstairs. This isnt much of an issue during the day, as I'm upstairs. At night, I use my trusty white noise generator -- an room air cleaner, so I dont hear it anyhow. However I doubt I'd want it in the same room as me. If I can get some extra scratch, I'd like to invest in a Antminer S9, but we'll see. For now, this thing is working well. I'd recommend under clocking it, no need to push much beyond 1.2TH/s anyhow. Your just going to use more power, generate more heat, with marginal performance increases. Really, the usage comes down to the performance of the power supply. I noticed that in comparing the results of the Corsair 750HX unit running the SP20, vs this HP DPS-800. The corsair was mildly warm during operation, where the DPS-800 is pushing a bit of hot air with it's little fans. The case is fairly warm as well. Keep in mind the Corsair has no internal fan, so that should give you an idea of the quality of a good power supply.
