Definitely buy a size smaller!My baby is 8 months old exactly and after reading the reviews I decided to order the 3-6 month shoe size and they fit perfectly with enough wiggle room for the next couple months!They are a soft sole shoe, easy to put on and take off, laces are a good length and design is very cute!

CUTE SHOES BUT WRONG SHOES STRINGS
I ordered these for my grandbaby (boy) and the shoe strings was white ribbons with a heart pendent on it. The black shoes had gold shoe strings-I'm confused. I JUST WANTED REGULAR SHOE STRINGS,NOW I HAVE TO BUY SHOE STRINGS TO PUT IN THEM. BESIDES THAT THEY ALL RIGHT FOR A CHEAP PRICE.

The color I ordered which was gray for a one and a half year old little girl was not the right color LOL it faded and got dirty so fast I can't even tell you... I would definitely recommend going with a darker color for these shoes. As far as the material, they are very soft and comfortable and for the price I would recommend them.

It is just an item for fashion.
I don't think it is a thing for the original purpose of shoes. The soles of the shoes are very thin, so it is hard to say that walking in them protect baby's feet. I feel it is just accessories. I don't like having shoelaces because it is baby shoes. It is difficult to take off, so I regret buying it.

Shoes look nice, but too small!
The shoes itself looks great and in great condition. I purchased 12-18months for my twin nephews turning 1 this year and got them 2 days later. I gave them to my dad since he was leaving for the Philippines to visit family. Unfortunately they were too small for them and this was expected for 12-18months. I can’t return them since they’re across the world now.

Don’t buy!
Fist of all they’re nothing like the picture they’re white then an ugly off white color mixed. They are too small. I got a size 2 6-12 months. They fit more like a 1-1 1/2!!

Too small!
I purchased these in black and white, in size12-18 months. However, my baby is only just now 12 months tomorrow and they were too small for his feet. I returned them. Won’t be ordering again.
