do the balls rattle? i'm trying to find non catnip non feather fuzzy rattle balls on long string like on the smaller cat condo of this brand.

Not at all!! Just puffy balls, no noise or catnip. It's a great toy. I bought 2 and they survived more than 20 cats :) in more than 2 years.

Would this be good for a bedroom? I have a large cat tree in my living room by i want him tonight. Would this be a good choice?

how is this for bigger cats... My cat is about 12-13lbs and about 3 years old.

It might be a little too small for a 12lb cat. You can see the tree set up at www.explore.org/kittens (when the camera is focused in that area). The dilute tortie is the mom and she is about 8lbs. Little ones are about 2lbs, and the teens are 4 & 5 lbs. Hope this helps.

It has an odd demention so it's not something I can give you an exact answer on but it's about a foot and a half tall and my biggest cat at 17lbs sleeps in it the most.
