Irish Setter Work Men's Marshall 83934 Pull-On Steel Toe Work Boot

First the good -These boots appear to be very well made which is expected with redwing and irish setter. The leather is nice and the first day I had them I had to tend to fencing in our pasture which has some pretty thorny bush areas. I walked right through and felt like nothing to get to me. the leather ended up taking the scaring well. they look great. I always wanted a pair of cowboy boots but these provide more function and sole.the bad -the insole is pretty useless. I felt like I was walking on leather. so I replaced the insole and they are much better.they fit pretty big. i had to return my first order as the boots were about a whole size too large. But, while they fit big in length and in the heel, the toe and mid of the foot is a little narrow. once I got an insole and the right size they ended up being pretty comfortable. Still some slop in the heel but i don't have enough experience with pull on work boots to say if thats normal or not. I've worked a few full farm days in these and I felt like they were fine.they are pretty expensive here. When I returned the larger size I went to my lock amish redwing store and found them for about $50 cheaper.all in all I think these are pretty nice work boots especially for farm or ranch work. probably not the best I've had but also not the worst by a long shot. I like them.

For god's sake don't stop making these, probably my favourite pair of boots I've ever had. One thing I will add is that I live in Canada and here you need a csa approval sticker and that's about all this boot is missing. NOTE TO NEW BUYERS if this is your first time buying pull on boots just know that they run quite big so they fit a larger variety of feet so be carful and do your research. If you wear a size 9.5 shoe, a boot that fits 6.5/7/8 would be what you wanna look for. Other than that great boot looks good hope they last and thank you Irish setter and Amazon for making these available.

Best boots i have ever owned. The first pair lasted 5 years, and i wore them everday, and i mean everyday. I sell heavy construction equipment and they last and last, day in and day out.

The boots are so comfortable! I am on my feet 10plus hours a day on all types of surfaces. No fatigue what so ever!

I like the boots. They do take some breaking in. A little tight across the top of the foot.

I work in a Locomotive repair shop. This is my second pair in 3 years.

Took a couple days to break in. Love these boots more than any shoe I've worn. Feet are in heaven.Looking now to buy another pair, just a different style.
