Purchased for my 16yr old Autistic son, he cannot cope with the fiddly ‘normal’ belt. This has been a god send, with his style taste being that of a peaky blinder, we were seeking a belt he could use by himself. This has ticked all the boxes, he’s a slim bean, but using the measure guide included we were able to cut to fit his 28” waist, pop it in the clasp and immediately he could independently put on and take off his belt thanks to the easy release function. He plans to purchase more in other colours/clasp finishes. He’s very happy and it’s another tick in the box for him preparing himself for adulthood.

I've become a fan of these ratchet belts, because they can be cut to a perfect length and are much more finely adjustable that traditional buckles. This is my third and looks a good as the others - blue and black

Very stylish belt. Beautiful buckle and I love the fastening mechanism, it's a sort of ratchet system. A lot simpler to adjust the length of the belt than I thought it would be from the instructions. It says to get the measuring tape out but I found it easier to put it on, see roughly what the surplus was and trim it down an inch or so at a time to fine tune it. It's so simple to click back together it literally takes seconds so adjusting it after you've lost a bit of weight is quick and easy (don't put on weight, the belt doesn't grow back 😁). Will get another of these with a different buckle for a bit of variety with different suits.

Update 10 August 2023:After months of constant use, the first belt began to split into two halves. Not unexpected at this price point and I still got a couple of months out of it.Purchased a second one last week and yeah, still stand by my original review. The only difference is that the belt itself is the colour I wanted. A solid belt and I'm happy with it.Original Review:My SlideBelt buckle snapped and needed a replacement, yet couldn't wait the 1-2 weeks it was going to take.This belt could be delivered the next day which influenced my decision, although had to compromise on the colour: it's a light tan rather than brown and a lot lighter in real life compared to the picture.Quality is decent although it lacks the luxury feel of the SlideBelt. The weight of the belt is too light and it feels a little plastic, while the buckle also lacks the heft of a SlideBelt. In fairness it's reflected in the price.The belt is loosened through a small lever on the the bottom of the buckle which takes a little getting used to. It's not a bad idea as I found the SlideBelt could be released when I pressed on something, for example a countertop.All in it's a decent belt. Quality could be higher, however, the price reflects that.
