Did no one get the joke? Love the series of this book, but no one got the joke? Serieously?
Love the book, it kept me happy in high school and I have other books of this series. I got one from the book fair we had in high school and wanted more of this books to read cause they were soo damn good. Love Godzilla and never will stop loving him. Just don't say shrek is love cause that will be a similar thing to saying lizard god are love to the world. Get it cause Godzilla defends earth and desotrys it like shrek does with he's memes. No one. Ok. (Goes to corner) I try'd atleast.

Solid Godzilla Comic Series!
A solid Godzilla comic. Great kaiju battles, good kaiju artwork, and a decent story. The only downside to this comic is that the art for the human characters is all over the place: some good and some poorly done depending on which page it is. Overall, I loved what they did, but wish some of the art was a bit more consistent in quality.

VERY GOOD COMIC! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I loved the comic! Very detailed! The color is very smooth! Great comic for Godzilla/Kaiju fans! I 100% recommend buying from this seller [IDW]. I love how it includes lesser known kaiju/mechs such as Mougera, Jet Jaguar, and Orga! I'll definitely buy from this seller again.

5 stars
Amazing artwork! Fast paced in terms of plot and the art is as stunning as ever! New monsters are added to the story including one of my favorites, biollante. Though the fight was short, the art always makes up for it!

All Hell Breaks Loose! More Kaiju Action, More Aliens, and CATACLYSMIC DESTRUCTION!
Godzilla vs. Biollante! Varan vs. Rodan and a suprise guest! Jet Jaguar is a capable fighter now and ,well, the invasion has begun. Orga and Gigan engage the Big G and Moguera in a destructive brawl Las Vegas. Things just got interesting!

Really good book.
Enjoyed reading it. Godzilla movies are not available in the UK, so this is the next best thing. Thumbs up.

Love the art, but it tires to do too much in too few pages.
OK, so ... 3 stars. This isn't a bad comic\graphic novel, it just tries to do too much in too few pages. It would probably be great if it were 3 times longer, but at its current length it just tries to fit too much story in, and it doesn't really pull it off.As a pure comic book, it does quite well. The presentation is good. The colours are strong and vibrant, and the pallet is well balanced. The artists have done well with size, scale and perspective, and they've gotten the detail level just right. You can pretty much always tell what is going on on a page with just a quick look. Some comics skimp on the detail and you don't get any real impression of movement or the epic nature of what is going on. While others put so much detail in that you need to look at them for a couple of minutes to tell exactly what is happening. This one gets it right. You even in complicated fighting sequences you can tell what is going on.The dialog is also quite well balanced. There's just the right amount of chat, and the right amount of exposition. It doesn't feel too wordy, and you know what's going on without having to guess. So, this comic looks nice, and reads well. The problem is that the writers have tried to fit 4-5 different story arcs together. Just as you're getting warmed up with one segment it abruptly finishes it, and moves on to another one with minimal transition. It feels like somebody has jammed a series of shorts together to make a movie. Each section of this book could have been an entire book in itself. In fact it should have been. The battle for Las Vegas alone could have been an entire book. There's just too much going on. You've got 3 different sets of villains (Including the obligatory mad foreign general who turns up, says 5 lines and is then more of less forgotten about for the rest of the book). Then there are half a dozen monsters who act like cameo characters rather than actual antagonists. It reads a bit like a fan-fiction where the writer has just taken ever popular villain from a series and dumped them in a room together. They just line up to and fight the heroes. There are also several different human groups\factions. They barely interact, you barely get to know one group before the focus moves to another. They just end up being disposable characters. All in all, it really does feel like somebody has spliced the battle sequences from several different seasons together to make a single (Much shorter) book.If I were reviewing the entire Rulers of Earth, I would probably give it 4 stars, but alone, it only ranks 3. They should have halved the number of monsters, and used the page that were freed up to include a longer storyline.
