Ruach Kashmir Hardwood Pedalboard and Carry Case for Guitar Effects Pedals (Size 2.5)

I'd been on the lookout for a new pedalboard for a while, and then I came across this little beauty from Ruach. It's a little bit more expensive than the generic, metal frame type boards that you can buy from other manufacturers but IMHO it's worth it. For your money you get a beautiful hardwood board that's been hand-rubbed with finishing oils to give a very classy look indeed. You get an input jack socket on one side and an output socket on the other, so you are plugging your guitar into the board as opposed to the first effect in your chain; very tidy. The board is also covered in quality velcro and comes with a decent enough unpadded carry bag, although personally I'd have preferred to spend a little more and have a padded one. I can't say how his will stand up to the rigours of the road as mine will only be used in my home recording studio. All in all, I'm very impressed with this product; it's well made, looks classy and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

I like that it has room underneath to hide a power supply, and that it has room for my nascent pedal collection to grow. I also like its sturdy construction, and that it looks more like a furniture than other pedal boards I’ve seen. This last bit is important as it is what allows me to keep it in the living room, where I do most of my practice.It is not cheap, but I suppose its value for money as I haven’t regretted my purchase.

This is just a stunning looking board. Yes, it is expensive. You can buy a pedal housing solution for far less. But it's likely to be metal or plastic and for me at least, having a big chunk of beautiful oiled wood covered in my assembled electronica is massively pleasing. Especially since it is made in NI - good to support 'local' business right now. Customer service is excellent too - I was very impressed by their responsiveness when my carrying bag was delayed.

Fantastic pedal board, plenty of room for effects pedals of various shapes and sizes, really well built and looks the part, the carry bag is just a bonus
