This is a great book for baby and lap afghans. Quick projects to begin crocheting. Easy to understand patterns and techniques to learn.

There’s a good reference section at the front explaining fibers and tools. The patterns look pretty easy, though I say that as someone who’s been crocheting quite a while. Nothing too fancy, but they wouldn’t be fast if they were. I like this and it was worth the price, I think.

Love this book. It is so easy to read and understand. I love to crochet but age is catching up with me and arthritis limits crochet time. One day projects are so much less stressful as pertains to the time commitment for the projects. Thank you for your publications and producing instructions that are easy io read and follow! I agree with a previous review that photos would help. However, I will continue purchasing without photos!

Very much directed for beginning crocheters. Some very nice patterns but no real pictures. Glad this was free on Kindle Unlimited.

These projects work up quick and easy. I enjoyed looking at these patterns. They make wonderful gifts. I like that she also gives you the option to make them larger if you have more than one day to work on them.

Great Crochet instructions for Beginners.Loved the step by step BASIC instructions. I have read a few other books that were not as clear for beginners.I would recommend this for ages 10+. Your never to young to learn.

I started crocheting to hem pillow cases I had previously embroidered. I then made dresses for bridesmaids' dolls then we got a tv which I discovered I could watch and read books at the same time. No more handwork for me until recently; I've just turned 85.

This little book is lovely. I've crocheted on and off since I was 9 years old. I know lots of stitches and have made blankets, amigurami and other "stuff". I have a dislike of standard pattern layout and the abbreviations for stitches because it doesn't really take more effort to write full words and complete sentences.Barb, explains things really well and uses sentences instead of the typical patterns. It's approachable and demystifying.That said, it could benefit from more images.
