Great read for the 80's kids! A true walk back in time!
Takes me back in time! As a child from the 80's....I pretty much love anything that has to do with He- Man and the Masters Of The Universe!!

Wasn't a fan but after reading the first book of this series I had to check it out. Great crossover !

A interesting crossover
Although it started out slow for me it was still fun. The unexpected twists made me want to read on. Perhaps it didn't get was because of the new 52.

fun crossover
This was a fun crossover to read. I love both MOTU and JL. The writer made them work well together. The warrior element of HeMan was a good read. Keith Giffen is doing good writing.

a great cross-over
This trade paperback collects the 6 issues that comprised the 'DC vs Masters of the Universe' cross-over from 2013-14. It tells the story of Skeletor, who's seeking to acquire ever more power, journeying to Earth from Eternia. He's operating, in part, on behalf of a mysterious and evil overlord ... Yet He-Man and a group of the Masters also journey to Earth - only to face the might of the Justice League, who've fallen under Skeletor's control! And so we get a full-on, epic battle between the MOTU and characters from the DC universe. Also included in this issue is "From Eternia with Death!" - a story from 1982, which introduced He-Man for the first time. The story of this cross-over adventure is good. While I'm not particularly fond of the new look for either He-Man or Skeletor, overall the art is impressive. This six-issue mini-series is part of the wider "Masters of the Universe" saga from DC Comics. The story takes place between issues six and seven of Volume 2 ... To briefly outline the series: “Masters of the Universe” consists of three main volumes, each offering self-contained story-arcs (with each building upon what has gone before), as well as a cross-over mini-series and several one-shots.Volume 1: this first six-issue series was titled “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe”, and it introduced the central characters as well as the wider world they occupy. The particular ‘take’ on He-Man presented here is distinct from earlier incarnations (e.g. the TV series).Volume 2: this second instalment was an ongoing series, consisting of 19 issues: 3 story arcs (each of 6 issues) and a one-shot prelude to the next ongoing series.Volume 3: this was another ongoing series, of 15 issues, known as “The Eternity War”. It concluded in February 2016 (and this comic book title came to an end).

Excellent!
A great mini series however it does not follow on from volume one as this volume has Eternia in Hordak's control which is the story collected in volumes three and four. The artwork is still great and the story overal serves as a taster for DC's new 52 if like me you haven't read any of it.
