This was great for me - until it broke
This was great for me, because my laptop is very heavy (high capacity battery installed). Many of the other cooling pads are very flimsy, and I've tried a few that wound up breaking on me in a fairly short period of time.This one is made of a heavier plastic, and it's more strudy.If you have a lightweight laptop, you might prefer a less substantial cooling pad, but for me, this was just what I needed.EDIT: Fell apart on me after about 15 months of use.

I love this laptop cooling fan
I love this laptop cooling fan! I would highly recommend getting it, if you had problems like I did, with your laptop getting hot. Purchase it. You will be glad you did. And it has a nice blue light underneath it to let you know that it is on. There is an on/off button to the right of the fan. I just keep the button "on" so when I power my laptop back on... the fan automatically comes on.I give it 5-STARS! And the price is GREAT too!!!! :-)

Look for a standard model that will last longer
Fell apart on me from moving it around with the laptop on it. Very cheaply made, you get what you pay for. I can no longer use it properly.

this laptop cooling pad works fine. not to noisy. I gave it 4 stars because I do not like the blue light.

BIG POS. Bought it at hardware store on clearance for $6. 1st one broke with in 2 weeks. Went back and exchange it. The new one survived 3 weeks.

Also got this at a hardware store (Menards) for $6 and I love it. It has lasted me 2 years now. I have invested in other, more expensive cooling pads in the past, but this one definitely delivers. Keeps the laptop elevated so it always has air circulation.I can have this on my desk, on my bed, on the floor, doesn't even matter, it will function on any surface. Which is saying a lot, because some angled cooling pads will put too much pressure on the fan if you aren't on a hard, flat surface. Such is not the case here! 10/10 for sure.
