I thought the ingredients were good. I was trying to find something to alternate with the Thunderbird bars I usually buy. I personally like the flavor/taste of Thunderbird bars better, but these aren't bad. They are smaller than Thunderbird bars and leave my blood sugar a little higher, but I do enjoy them as an energy source, part of early in the day meal options. I usually have a protein shake and a "natural as possible/no grains" meal bar when I don't have the option to make something real, which I don't always have with my health. These are not an absolutely amazing miracle food, but they are good and do the job. I don't wish to complain, and I have not tried them all. I have not tried the peanut butter ones (sensitive but not allergic to peanuts) or the matcha Chai yet. These do have a different texture than the Thunderbird bars as well. I am not brand devoted to any brand, just trying to find something easy to grab, that does not raise my blood sugar too much or mess me up with food sensitivities. These are not bad at all in this respect. If you are expecting something to replace a sugary snack, these will not do that, but they serve my needs very well and I don't feel hungry after eating them. Compared to other protein bars this needs another star. I ordered a box as a test to see if it was edible. My search for protein bars was aimed at a low-carb bar without sugar alcohols, and a decent amount of protein. All plant based was a plus. I plan to put this on a monthly shipping schedule when I finish writing this, and trying this company's other products. It is slightly dry, plan on drinking lots of water, which is something else I want to do. I am eating for health (See Dale Bredesen's books) but stay busy, and don't have time to cook often. I need to not lose any more weight.
