This alarm clock arrived in Amazon's standard packaging, which was packed well to avoid any damage during transit. The clock arrived next day using my prime membership. I am delighted with this clock /radio, it is very well made, I also like he fact that it is compact. The large numbers are great whilst not being intrusive also the display can be dimmed, the clock was easy to set up and when I tried the radio the sound was very clear. The radio can store up to 20 stations. The LED screen is 5.5 inches (140 mm) and very to easy to read with 3 levels of brightness, which is ideal for me when going to bed as there is no distraction. I like the fact that you use the power cord or can be powered by 2 AAA batteries. The clock is well made, looks nice and elegant. The clock was easy to set but I recommend using the instruction booklet provided. Overall, this is an amazing product!! It does absolutely everything I could want, and more. It has two alarms, one of my favorite things about this product is the comfortable and soothing number-lights, as compared to the glaring and intrusive bright red numbers on my previous bedside clock-radio. Good enough when it arrived with nice clear display. Battery backup function is good when mains power has been turned off. However, within a year one of the LED segments started to flicker, then a couple of segments went off altogether and now you can only see the display if it’s on full brightness (too bright for night) and even then a couple of the segments have failed. So now I need to buy another one. Less than 18 months on.

Seems like I drew the short straw with this one. Plugged in to the mains and was instantly bombarded with an extremely loud buzzing/humming noise - so loud it could be heard from several feet away. Tried a different socket and that made no difference. This was not radio interference, as the noise could clearly be heard whether the radio was switched on or not. Similar in sound to the 'hum' from a transformer, but much louder.

This replaced an old alarm clock radio. I wasn't looking for gadgets. Just something that would wake me up in a morning reliably and I could see what time it was at 3am if I woke up in the middle of the night.It is a simple compact piece of equipment. It is stable so I can't knock it over if I am trying to touch the snooze button. The fm radio is crystal clear. Much better than my previous alarm. I have only checked the am radio to make sure it works.At least one previous reviewer said the display was poorly lit. There are two brightness settings !! When the lights are off the dim setting is perfectly good to see what time it is. The full brightness is designed to be used when the lights are on in the room. It is too bright for me to sleep.The whole device is easy to set up and the instructions are clear in the manual. I am pleased with this purchase

Good display and when dimmed is ideal for night-time use. Sound quality is fine given the size of the unit. Found the instructions quite comprehensive but way too small to read easily. Moulded plug not well suited to use in sockets close to floor or shelf.

Despite reading so many positive reviews (I bought two as a result for different bedrooms in the house) I was very disappointed with the design. Basically there are a lot of buttons with dual purpose which is always complicated in my opinion. The on/off button does either switches it on and off or changes the channel on the radio so too often I find myself waking to white noise instead of my chosen radio. I am a bit more used to it now but it is certainly not an easy to use alarm.

This clock does exactly what it should. The dim option is useful so it is not too bright. The two alarms are useful so you can have 2 waking times set. I am pleased with this purchase and it is good value.

This was bought for my elderly aunt who wanted a simply bed side clock radio, so easy to set up and navigate. The blue screen is perfect for at night. My aunt loves it. Highly recommend
