The Gift of Casseroles
I have always loved cooking for my family and friends. This year I have realized what a gift a home cook meal can be. My mother-in-law was hospitalized for quite some time and other than going to visit as often as I could, there were times I felt completely helpless. I then realized what a gift I could provide to the family be making meals. And what better to transport and last for several meals than casseroles. 300 Best Casserole Recipes helped me with some creative ideas and provided healthy alternatives to comfort food. I have sinced gone back to this cookbook for many gifts that I can give to friends who have just had babies, moved to a new home, etc. and may not be able to cook as much. There is no better comfort than a good casserole and the love of family and friends!

Yummy, Most of the Time
I've made a lot of the food out this book, my favorite being Mary's No Peeking Chicken. Some duds, some averages, some good, all depends on your taste buds. Nice to have the sections based on red meat, pork, chicken, seafood, vegetable, etc. I do wish the seafood would had a bit more variety in it, seems like shrimp dominated that section. I liked it enough to send one to my girlfriend who started to dig casseroles and the recipes from the book.

Best Food Ever
I love this Cookbook!! It is one of the best and well written cookbooks I have seen in a long time. The recipes are easy to follow and I really like how Tiffany includes tips on what wines to cook and serve with the recipes. I also like how Tiffany gives you tips on making some of the dishes low fat. It is also nice to see some Gluten free ideas as well. It is interesting to read about the origin and history of some of her recipes, it adds a personal touch to the book.I would highly recommend this Cookbook !!! Would be a great gift for a new bride to be as well as the seasoned chef.

Casserole Heaven
I have never given a review for a book before much less a cookbook. However, I purchased 300 Best Casserole Recipes cookbook as gifts for several friends and family members that work and don't have time to throw together meals for their families until the last minute each day. Then I thought I'd better try it just to make sure it did what it said and it does! No fancy ingredients, no long processes, no more "I wonder what I should make for dinner!" I'm definitely giving the ones I have already purchased as gifts but will keep it in mind for future wedding showers, birthdays, etc. because it is also a perfect gift!

This Cookbook is a "Must Have" and a Great Gift
I'm making my holiday shopping easy this year and getting this cookbook for everyone on my list. Casseroles are back! How fun to have such a great cookbook that celebrates everything casserole. I might try something akin to the author of "Julie & Julia" and try my own version with "Alison & Tiffany" and I'll try a new casserole recipe every day for the next 300 days. This cookbook INSPIRES!

Recipes not correct.
So far tried two dishes from this book and they turned out terrible. The ham potato bake turned out soup. I followed the recipe exactly.

Good Basics
Good basic cooking. Negative; lack of nutrional data and when listing number of pages does not state "only a couple of photos".
