Gore Men's Air Gore-Tex Active Shell Jacket

I ordered this as a running rain jacket for my son-in-law. I ordered the small, which fit his 5'10" 145# frame perfectly for running (close to the body, but not tight). The arm and body length were good, as was the weight. Being Gore-Tex, we both know it will be waterproof. He has been very pleased with it for winter bad weather running in Virginia.

The arms are about 1" to 2" too long and the zip appears to be a bit flimsy, otherwise the jacket is a good fit.

Great light weight waterproof breathable jacket. Easy to adjust for different temperatures as you run, as it has zippered vents at the cuffs on the inside of the sleeves and a horizontal vent on the back.

The jacket is just not waterproof. Very disappointing given Gore-Tex reputation and pricing. I run 40 minutes a day and if raining the jacket takes on water throughout after 10 minutes. Also odd dimensions - sleeves run long but rest of it is tight. I am 5'9" medium build and the jacket is tight through chest and arms.

Excellent quality of Gore! Better than asics and mizuno brand same jacket. Wery light, wery soft. Keep me warm and dry (+10 to -10)

Leicht skeptisch, ob eine Membran-Technologie auch für Läufer geeignet ist, habe ich mir die Jacke bestellt. Schnelle Lieferung von Amazon, so daß ich sie heute Abend gleich bei Sturm und Regen ausprobieren konnte. Muß echt sagen, daß ich positiv überrascht bin von der Performance. Wind und Regen trotzt die Jacke problemlos - selbst die Schweißbildung bei schnelleren (anstrengenden) Läufen ist durchaus moderat. Kein befürchteter Treibhaus-Effekt - die Jacke bleibt innen trocken. Man sollte sich allerdings im Klaren darüber sein, daß die Membrantechnologie umso besser funktioniert, je kühler es draussen ist (Temperaturgefälle Körper zu Außentemperatur). Bei frühlingshaften Temperaturen wird die Jacke also von ihrer Atmungsaktivität Einbußen machen. Aber dafür wurde sie nicht angeschafft.Einziger Kritikpunkt: Etwas steif und raschelt bei Bewegung - ist aber durchaus verschmerzbar. Insgesamt klasse Produkt, das seinen Preis wert ist.

La qualità del materiale goretex è sempre un gradino sopra gli altri, ripara da vento e pioggia senza trattenere il sudore; aggiungendo il servizio di Amazon non si può chiedere di più!

5km sous la pluie hier, aucune sensation de chaleur sous une coque (comme souvent c'est le cas avec des coupes-pluies qui ne respirent pas bien), et bien sûr, effectivement imperméable !Un sans-faute pour Gore ; le tissu est en Gore-Tex, ce qui lui permet d'être à la fois imperméable et respirant. En plus de cette technicité-là, la veste dispose d'une zone d'aération dans le haut du dos, et d'ouverture zippées sur le bout des manches (l'air rentre le long du bras ; très astucieux et agréable !). Une poche napoléon permet d'emmener un smartphone ou des papiers d'identité ou clefs. Un système de fermeture à une seule main en bas du dos permet de resserrer le bas de la veste, pour se protéger au mieux du froid !

J'ai longuement hésité avant d'acheter cette vesteMais je ne regrette en aucun cas mon achatla coupe est parfaite, la veste est super légère et se fait vraiment oublier en running....la membrane GORE TEX originale est vraiment top : imperméable et respirante (on peut rajouter coupe vent), elle fait vraiment ce qu'elle annonce....toutes les coutures et les fermetures éclair sont imperméabilisés. Juste un bémol, sur les fermetures qui me semblent un poil légère : à voir si ça tient dans la durée.Un peu cher mais c'est la marque GORE ... toutefois on en a vraiment pour son argent.....

ottimo prodotto sia il materiale che come è rifinito.Oltre che quando mi alleno, lo uso anche sotto il giubbotto della moto.
