OXO Good Grips Silicone Sink Drain Strainer, Kitchen Sink Stopper

I’ve had the OXO Good Grips silicone sink strainer for over eight months, and it still looks as good as new! The quality is fantastic—it catches everything while being super easy to clean. I highly recommend it if you want something durable, effective, and long-lasting. This sink strainer is a breeze to use! It stays firmly in place without shifting around, and the suction design makes removal super easy. Plus, it’s lightweight, so you barely notice it’s there—except when it’s doing its job perfectly. I love how hassle-free it is, and I couldn’t be happier!

The OXO Good Grips Silicone Sink Strainer is perfect for me. It moves a little to the side of the opening, but the sink drain opening remains completely covered and no food ever goes down the drain. It is the easiest strainer to clean. There is no need to pick out tiny pieces with my fingers or a paper towel. I previously tried a stainless steel strainer that did not work for me. The food pieces would not tap out and even a paper towel and a brush wouldn’t remove the tiny bits. The stainless steel strainer is very nice looking, but the cleaning process was impossible. I used so many paper towels. No paper towels are ever needed with the OXO. I know this all probably sounds weirdly enthusiastic, but I cannot describe the amount of work the OXO has saved me every day. I don’t have to tap it over and over to try to get the scraps out. I don’t have to tap it on the trash can at all. I just gently pull or push the piece in the middle, and everything goes straight down into the trash can. Perfect!!

Perfect for the kitchen sink. This is the second time I’ve purchased these. First set, I got at the store and they last over 2 years before the rubber started coming off the bottom. I’ve washed them many times in the dishwasher so I believe they’re fairly durable. I wish they’d have lasted longer than 2 years but they do what they’re supposed to do and they’re super easy to clean out! Unlike other strainers I’ve used, these actually allow the sink to fully drain. The others would let all the water run into the drain so they had a potential for staining the sink.

2nd time purchasing these (2 at a time for a double kitchen sink). They work well and easy to use. Bottom on the reverse side does get gunky over time as they remain wet and I use a sponge or brillo to clean them. Had them for a couple of years and decided to replace them.

It's a nice strainer and easy to clean. But our older sink is very flat on the bottom near the drain, and this strainer has a slight lip on it. In our sink it's enough to block the last bit of water from draining out. If I don't lift it, the water pools and makes a stain when it evaporates.

I bought this for my sister-in-law for a stocking stuffer for Christmas. She picked it out and put it on her wish list. When it arrived I was surprised at the quality and weight of the strainer. it seemed like a weird gift, but we are all very pragmatic, so if it's useful, then why not? She says it works well in her standard sink. She was glad to get rid of her old one. This holds the water in and looks nice (strainers can get a bit used-looking over time). It was an easy gift, and a useful one...one the gets used everyday. I am happy with that!

Watch the video. It says and shows all you need to know. I adore this thing. I’m so glad my moving helpers accidentally packed it form me. I bought a new, different brand, plastic one that was green and pretty with a sink stopper too. It was not the upgrade I had hoped for. After 2 months of trying to make that new other brand work, I was just frustrated with picking stuff out of it, being not super easy to clean. I had been so spoiled to the one I had bought years ago. This OXO is still my favorite after 7+ years of constant use. (Except for 2 months in a box when we moved.) when I opened the moving box and found it, I was so happy. Yes, happy over a sink drain strainer! There is nothing to dislike about this one. It would even look new had I not had others using steel wool like scrubbers on the metal. (Not complaining, they were helping me significantly and it’s appreciated. Just explaining that with normal use it will still look like new for you.) with 1 arthritic hand I can turn it inside out over the trash or compost can and rinse it off with the flick of the wrist. I deep clean it 1x a month just to be extra sanitary. The rubber like material still looks, flexes and functions like it’s new. Nothing ever gets caught on the lip edge. Everything food like always slides easily into the catch basket. It is so sturdy and useful after 7+ years that I am not even tempted to buy a back up. I see this lasting at least 20 more years. I guess the only negative is, it is so well engineered and made that, it spoils you to just being used to never fighting with your drain. I think if had I never used this OXO one, I would have been very happily using the green new one from another brand. I would still be using my fingers or water to try and chase the food bits over the edge and into the catch basket. Which now that I don’t have to do that, well… I’m just never going back to the extra work, load of time and gross feeling of gelatinous food bits stuck under my nails. (Shudder of disgust.) Side note: I have no idea how they used the steel wool in the metal edges without ripping up the rubber like parts. I looked again just to be sure. Everything is smooth and intact. I think that is only because it is so well made.

Nach Studium von verschiedenen Rezensionen habe ich dieses Abflusssieb vor etwas über vier Jahren gekauft. Es hat sich total gelohnt. Das Abflusssieb ist immer noch im Abfluss, hält alles Festes auf und lässt das Wasser abfliessen. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Impeccable, la moindre petite feuille de salade est retenue dans la petite passoire qui est par ailleurs très facile à vider et qui est assez profonde pour qu’on ne soit pas obligé de la vider sans arrêt.

Parece caro, pero vale la pena. Si compras los baratos no duran nada y se rompen. Ëste dura más de 5 años. Vale la pena la "inversión".

Material muito mais resistente que os encontrados no Brasil. Comprei alguns anos atrás e agora, depois de 8 anos estou trocando. Fiquei usando por 5 anos, até que descolou a parte de metal do silicone. Contudo, durante um ano comprando outros produtos similares aqui do BR já tive que trocar em menos de um ano por conta de ferrugem. Voltei a comprar esse que a durabilidade é maior. Entrega pela Amazon antes do prazo, com total Segurança.

Honestly didn’t think I’d feel strongly about a sink strainer, but this ones the best thing since sliced bread. It catches everything, stays put and doesn’t float around like the cheap ones. Soft on the hands, easy to lift out, silicone centre is easy to empty, quick rinse and back in, no mess, no fuss. Build quality is solid and it looks good in the sink. Actually bought a second one to match. It’s one of those small upgrades that makes daily life easier, and now I wouldn’t want to be without them. Simple product, works perfectly, could be a tad cheaper, but it is what it is.
