Thoroughbeds Grey Tweed Dog Collar with Rose Gold Buckle - Small

I don’t usually write reviews but this needs to be said as could be a disaster waiting to happen. I love this collar, it’s soft, comfortable and of great quality BUT please do not just attach a lead to the collar, use a harness. I recently bought this collar for my shorkie, it looks amazing on her, however, twice now the clip has undone whilst out on a walk resulting in my dog getting loose, luckily for us my dog won’t leave my side but this may not be the case for all dogs, especially with recent tragic events with a certain lead that’s been recalled. If you use this collar please attach lead to a harness.

At this price I wasn't expecting much, but I was positively surprised. The collar is very pretty, made out of solid story materials. The buckle and ring are made out of solid, chromed metal and the buckle has a quite solid, smooth clasping mechanisms. This makes it very easy to put on and take off the collar. Still the buckle closes the collar securely. I've tried pulling it as hard as I could to make sure it wouldn't just open and release my dog in a dangerous situation, but it wouldn't budge. The seems seem solid too.My only complaint is that the rose gold plating on the metal is a bit fragile. After about 10 days of use (only on walks) the coat on the ring and buckle has already started to come off a bit. Additionally, to collar is quite heavy so it it might not be too comfortable for small and slim dogs - My sturdy cocker doesn't seem to mind much though.Overall, I'd recommend the collar. At under 10 quid it's at least half as expensive than the next collar I was considering, and the quality at this price seems more than acceptable.

I ordered the small. Quality materials and looks lovely but maybe better for larger dogs, as it's quite heavy for a Bichon puppy. 2cm is quite wide for a small puppy but measurements are as stated.Looking forward to our puppy growing in to it 🙂

I brought a small as advertised for a puppy.It’s far to thick and heavy for a small dog. Plus when you make it smaller it just makes it even thicker.Hard to adjust.Looks lovely but not practical for a small dog

Got this gorgeous collar so our gorgeous rescue girl Yana could join me in my love of rose gold. The light grey sets it off a treat, the material is lovely and soft for her to wear and best of all the collar is a decent width. All too often even collars for bigger dogs seem so thin - it makes them look cheap and nasty and I'm sure they can't be comfortable when on lead, but this collar was well worth the extra little bit of money. Just need to save for the matching lead now! Worth every penny. Rescue dogs deserve to shine.

This collar is beautiful lovely thick material and the rose gold looks amazing we got a size small for my jackrussell and had to adjust it to the smallest, lovely quality my daughter has actually bought the same collar for her dog

A really good quality collar however I feel the edges of the clasp could be a little less square for the comfort of the dog. I do t think this affects the quality at all just a personal preference .
