Vacuum those suckers out!
I chose to buy his product over other similar products because of the fact that you can use regular tissue as a filter instead of buying special filters. It works well once you build up your lung strength and realize not to put too much tissue in there. At first I was getting frustrated and about to pass out. It's much easier if you use very little tissue and some nasal saline spray (I use Little Noses) and kind of wiggle the aspirator around as you suck and try pointing it towards the center of your baby's nose rather than straight up. Now I get satisfaction seeing how much comes out of my little baby's nose!

Awesome!
Yes, this is awesome! If I could give it 6 stars I would! Now, of course, the thought of sucking out your child's snot is disgusting, but when they can't blow their nose, you have to do something. Most people recommend the Nose Frida, but you have to buy filters with that one. This one just uses ordinary tissues as the filter which saves a ton of money! This works by putting one end in the child's nose which leads to the compartment where you put a tissue. Then a long plastic hose goes up to the piece where you suck. No matter how much snot comes out, I've never had any get past the tissue paper (and I've used this for about 4 years so far with 2 different kids). The whole thing can go in the dishwasher and it has a mesh bag and 2 kid ends and 2 parent ends. Now, my kids do NOT like me to use it on them, which is normal. It feels weird to have someone suck out your snot. So, here's how I do it: Sit on the floor and lay the child back between your legs with their feet pointed down to your feet. Hold their arms and legs under your legs so they can't break free and hold their head still between your thighs. I know it sounds terrible, but you really can't use this if the kid is moving around, trying to get away from you. A few quick sucks on the aspirator in each nostril and you're done. There might be a few tears, but they'll feel better right away.

Great thing
I have both this one and the Nosefrida. For me they both work wonders when your baby is having a cold. They both work effectively but it depends which one you prefer. One way or the other they both serve the same purpose. It depends which one you prefer since they have different shapes.

We use it
Good price and product. No filters required. Only I run out of breath sometimes trying to suck hard boogies out lol. My husband doesn't though, so I get him to help. Don't have to worry about it going to far up his nose or hurting him with the rounded silicone tip.

Works great
My husband loves this product and we even bought one for a friend. I just wish my son was more cooperative. Hopefully using it on our newborn will be better since she'll grow up using it.

Great alternative!
Easy to assemble, and then disassemble for cleaning. I only use two squares of toilet paper, probably can get away with using one. My Lo does not like it when I use the bulb on her so I thought this would be better. This product is better for getting the mucus out but my Lo still does not like it. First few tries I was not successful, it was not getting anything. Then I saw the recommendation of saline, so I have the baby saline nose mist and try that. It worked much better but still heard her stuffy. Now I mist both nostrils wait a minute, mist them again, then suck the nose clean. Real happy when I can hear my Lo breathe clearly.

Doesn't work
Apparently my baby has super boogers, because the only ones I could get out were already at the opening of his nostril, and that was after saline drops. On the plus side, it didn't irritate his nasal passages like the bulb syringe.

The Perfect Solution!
My son is 9 months old and had a terrible cold. The bulb syringe everyone knows about was barely working because the mucus was so think. A friend recommended the Baby Comfy Nose and we bought it the next day. The first time I used it I got sooo much out of my son's nose! It was amazing! Without much effort and taking WAY less time - I cleared his nose right out! Which is super helpful because getting him to stay still while doing this is pretty much impossible. The faster, the better. I'm even able to use this without someone there to hold him down! I highly recommend this!
