Disappointing
I was aiming to use this adapter to connect my ipad to a midi capable pedal. I have a similar product that Apple sells and it works great. This connector didnt work on anything i connected it too. Disappointed

Perfect Cable For The Mobile Musician
This cable works perfect with your iPhone / iPad music setup. Just be sure to plug your midi device into the adapter first and then plug it into your device ( otherwise you will get an error message on your device). Little to negligible latency. Highly recommend

Port labeled as USBC is actually a lightning port, I did't realize from the description
Turns out the USBc labeled port is a lightning port. :(
