Master Lock - 3 Trailer Locks Keyed Alike 3KA-379-3

I ordered a new boat trailer so I ordered this set to help me secure it. Once the trailer came, it was much too wide for this latch lock ... but that does not affect my rating as I would have known better if I had seen the trailer. The picture shows the difference between three popular latch locks. This latch lock fits my other trailers and I would give it Five Stars for it's intended application.I think the manufacturer anticipated that their kit could wind up split up, mix and match, as it includes six identical keys. I use this on my log splitter, so it's nice to have a separate set of keys for it.The receiver lock was much better than my old one on my truck so I used that. It seems very well made and the lock is protected from salt, and road grime. It is easy to use.The ball lock seems very sturdy, made of first rate materials, and easy to install. It looks formidable ... which is all that matters since NOTHING you can do will thwart a serious thief. I'm perfectly satisfied with this set.The

Only one of three locks fit. My hitch pin lock was too short, the latch pin padlock wouldn’t fit. The lock that did fit, the hitch receiver, seams kinda cheap. Seller did everything right, and product may work for some, but only one in three locks work with my grand design.

The best part of this Combination is that it makes perfect sense and all of the locks are keyed the same. I needed a receiver lock for my new truck, a trailer lock for when it's parked outside, and a padlock for when my trailer is hooked up to my truck. It was easy to rekey several other Master Locks that I have, and I love having 6 identical keys (included in the set) that fit most of my locks. Unfortunately my larger Master Locks don't fit the key-way which makes it impossible to key the same.

I really like having the same key for all 3 locks but unfortunately the blue hitch pin is a little short to fit my truck (2017 Tacoma). My seller got me set up with an exchange for the red hitch pin since the locks are the same and I'm all set. the two trailer locks fit my 2in ball coupler well and I feel much more confident when taking the trailer out now.

Maybe they won't remove this one. I received one lock with 2 different size pins. Maybe this lock is "keyed alike" with someone else lock out in the world somewhere, but there was only one lock. I wanted 2 locks that were "keyed alike".For $36 dollars, I returned the lock and got a full refund. Total waste of my time and way too expensive.

The units are good quality but they didn't fit the truck or the trailer. The ball lock that fits into the trailer socket is very good and is easy to install. I wonder that a good hit with a sledge hammer could pop the lock off. The other 2 locks for the hitch pin and trailer coupler never fit the truck or trailer.

All three locks seem well made, and being keyed alike is a plus. The coupler latch padlock doesn't fit my coupler, it's not long enough. Needs to be about 1/4 inch longer.I figure that we'll need to replace these locks every year as they corrode in the weather. Next year I'll look for one with a different style of coupler lock.

As advertised the locks were not keyed alike. The couple and hitch locks were but the pin lock has a different key. And after two weeks of use, the couple lock failed by jamming. Thoroughly cleaned and lubricated to attempt to open but it absolutely failed locking me out of my own camping trip. No response from the seller regarding possible tips to help. Called Master Lock customer service who in turn told me to simply compromise (drill) the lock open and they would replace it for me. Would never put either of these locks on my trailer again.
