Once the candle is lit, the center flame lights the smaller birthday candles which are attached to each flower pedal. Then the flower opens up and starts to slowly spin. These birthday candles also play the " Happy Birthday" song as they spin, or the wire can be cut to disable the song, and use at any event. Each of the candles have a wide plastic "foot" so it will easily sit on top of a cake. These birthday candles are only for one time use.
