I love that this is a snack made from "whole" foods that I can feed my very particular and food-sensitive boyfriend! Only three ingredients: dates, almonds, coconut! At the end of every day when he picks me up, I wrap three in a napkin and give them to him as "scooby snacks" or perhaps as an offering to the hungry god! I am on my 3rd or 4th five-pound bag. I made the mistake of leaving the first one at home, and all five pounds were gone within a few days. I have since learned to keep them at the office and ration them out as special snack treats. Sure, they are a bit mushed together because they are in a big plastic bag, but I feel good saving the environment more than if they were in a clamshell, and I love that it is only $27 for 5 pounds versus the same for 1 lb in fancy packaging.

Initially I gave this 3 stars but I had to change this to a 5 star based solely on the taste! I cooled in fridge then placed in tupperware and cut in cubes. Absolutely delicious treat, everyone has loved it including my 7 year old Grandson. I gave him a tiny piece to try and he came back for more, then asked me where I bought and how long it took! Absolutely Yummy and I will be ordering again often!!!Original reviewTaste is great but presentation leaves much to be desired. You will not receive nice little date logs rolled in coconut topped with almond sliver. Mine came in a flattened, although padded, manilla envelope. All of the ingredients are smoothed together and of course flattened. I will try cooling in fridge and cutting like fudge I suppose. I think I will just go back to the co-op and get my dates from there again.

Overall the product is great. Tastes really good. I would have liked to have more nuts (variety, other than just peanut) included, e.g. Pistachios, Almond, ... I would have given it a 5 star if they included more variety of nuts

Very tasty and very, very sweet--which is to be expected of dates, so consume in moderation! The ingredients were reasonably fresh and high quality and the rolls were soft and moist. One gripe: although they are "Nut Date Rolls" they were more like "Coconut Encrusted Date Rolls with an Almond Slice." Anyhow, it's not too big of a deal and the product is still great buy for the price.

These things taste fine.....I say things because they're shipped in a bag that appears to have been run over. Have these people not heard of BOXES ! Just imagine buying a Boston cream pie and having it shipped to you in a plastic bag. Same thing . If your looking for taste , they're OK . If you plan on serving them to people , not so good. There is no need for it really.....it's just stupid.

Taste is great, the serving size is a bit large. I originally thought they would be much smaller, like only 5% of the size. Those once are quite large, I would guess 1.5 inch in length. I therefore cut them into pieces...

Holy Cow this stuff is good. My grandma used to let me take a little taste of these when she got gift trays of dried fruit for Christmas. I love them. And they are good for me (kinda) so sweet! And how I can eat a handful instead of just a bite!

we really enjoy these date nut rolls - they vary in content and quality however. some orders are a bit stale and hard...some have lots of coconut in them (which they should have) some have none...usually moist tho.
