Effective
First time trying Buckley's. The consistency is pretty thick like honey. But the taste is nowhere anything but tolerable. It taste just like a thick syrup of halls menthol. I'm used to the menthol taste so it's not really that bad. It did give me the burps tho. I felt the effects after an hour. Everyone is different depending on what you have.

The slogan is right, taste horrible but works.
My husband is a stern no medicine type but being that he is from Canada he always said "you don't have buckly's down here" so this time when he got sick I ordered it. Worked wonders. Him and our oldest both called it "the poison" because of the taste. I didn't think it taste horrible. We all 3 ended up using it for our cold we had floating around and it was quick working and knocked it out of all 3 of us.

OLD RELIABLE
You don't buy Buckleys for its flavor, you buy it because it works. I remember being given this as a child back in the 1900's ;P (The 80s). Then it disappeared from the American market. Glad to see Amazon has it. But its a bit on the pricey side(and this was one the inexpensive one)...I'm sure because we can't buy it here so we are at the mercy of the seller...or fly to Canada.
