Stale and nearly expired.
Arrived in a very beat-up looking bag. Dismayed that the coffee was 5 weeks from its expiration date, but I brewed a cup anyway. I use a Baratza burr grinder, fresh water, and a French press. I’m not overly fussy, and I understand that buying coffee this way may not always be the freshest, but these stale beans were just way too old. Disappointing.
