Biotin is a supplement I’ve used for years to strengthen my normally weak fingernails that split easily. It has helped me with that issue so I continue use. Although new to this brand so far it has not caused any negative reaction. The tiny white pills do use lactose/milk in their formula which may be a concern if sensitive or possessing an allergy. Dosage is 1 pill per day. The bottle has both a cellophane collar on the outside of the lid and a foil inner-seal to ensure freshness and that it is untouched.Instructions are to place one pill under the tongue and let it dissolve—a process that took no more than 20 seconds. Biotin has a notoriously bad taste but this pill was just mildly sweet. According to the instructions, the pill can be swallowed, if preferred. To estimate shelf-life, the bottle has an expiration date 20 months in the future, but dates will vary.

While biotin won't fix the hair you've already grown, it definitely helps strengthen new growth. As I age, my hair has become finer and breakage began to be a problem. I added Biotin Quik Desolve to my diet a few months ago and am now seeing stronger hair. It helps nails, as well; while mine are pretty good to begin with, they're definitely even stronger now - it's rare that I have a couple of extra short nails anymore - they're harder to break or bend.These under-the-tongue pills dissolve quickly with a pleasant mild tartness. I recommend biotin - give it time to work! - and I recommend this brand!

I've been taking it for years now because I had thin, soft, nails that would split and peel. It wasn't until I began taking biotin that I could actually grow long, strong nails and the side bonus was that my hair became thicker and more lustrous.I've taken biotin in tablet and capsule and soft gels but this is the first dissolvable tablets I have tried. They are very, very, tiny and when placed under the tongue, they dissolve almost instantly. They are almost tasteless but have a tiny hint of fruity tartness.You get 100 tablets in the bottle and each tablet contains 5,000 mcg of biotin. They also offer these same dissolving tablets in a 10,000 mcg strength, which is what I will order next. Til then, I will just take two of these per day, which is my usual dose.
