I really like this hair stick, very pretty. However, not too strong. Broke on my 4th use. I do have very long, thick hair. The stick is still (just barely) long enough to use so I’ll just sand it down. All in all, I think I’d still buy another, just not for as much $.

I ordered two. One straight stick which works well for decoration with an updo, but with my really fine soft hair it doesn’t hold well by itself. I ordered the twisted one and it’s perfect. Nice tight hold like some of my other favorite hair sticks and the design is gorgeous. It’s slightly imperfect but I enjoy it.

originally I thought this was a little pricy for a single hair stick but it is worth every penny! The wood is expertly polished and does not snag your hair. The silver top and shell are dense and add a wonder weight to the piece. Overall a solid and excellent quality accessory.

This hair stick is the best I've ever bought! The craftsmanship is impeccable and it seems like a very outstanding-quality piece. It holds tightly and securely without loosening much. It is comfortable and versatile in styling and does it's job amazingly well. I, too, wish there were more with different materials. VERY WELL MADE, THE FILIGREE IS BEAUTIFUL I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY DAUGHTER'S 17TH BDAY SHE HAS VERY LONG RED HAIR AND WANTED SOMETHING VERY UNIQUE TO BUN IT UP, THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL IN HER HAIR SHE WEARS IT ALL THE TIME. WILL BUY MORE SOON!!

I didn't use this stick very often before it bent and cracked slightly, creating a splinter of wood on the shaft right in the middle. It's too skinny.

This is much nicer than the picture looks. It is larger than I expected, about 8 inches, which is better, the filigree head is in high relief and the mother of pearl is a nice thick chunk the wood is smooth and finished. The whole thing is sturdy but looks elegant. It is also easy to use and works. My hair is about 2 inches below my shoulders and this holds it well, twist and slip the stick through and off you go. Well worth the money.

This is a truly lovely hair stick. It looks and feels like something you'd expect to be vintage or maybe even from antiquity. Good value, packaged well and delived fast. My hair is waist length and this holds a bun well. Only problem - stick is a bit long for my hair (this length might work better for much thicker hair), so I carefully trimmed a little over 1" off the end, sanded and polished. Perfect now.

looks lovely, beautiful wood.only point is that it is a little short for my wife who has very long hair. Could do with being about 10inches.

I get lovely comments every time I wear this. I have loads of long, fine hair and this holds it in no problem. I love it
