Elite Core SuperFlex Gold SFP-205RQ Dual RCA to 1/4-Inch TS Patch Cable, 5-Feet

These are not what I would consider pro, and more entry level semi-pro quality. The ends are OK, but the cable itself has a shared single sleeve that goes to those little plastic molded breakout boxes (convienently not shown in the photos for the item)where it splits to Left/Right sends a few inches from each end. That always spells cheap to me, as you can't tell how they are splitting or grounding the lines, and you can't separate them in to a dual mono situation if need be. The cable does seem highly flexible (hence the name "Super-Flex" I guess), but in my 35 years of doing pro audio I've never had that a cable not be flexible enough in a rack or install.These are serviceable but not as hi-end as I hoped (think entry level Monster). I found actual Mogami cable with matching ends in a true dual mono application on a pro audio site, so I ordered them for $12 more total than these. I'll use these for CD-playback at the FOH as they're better than Hosa/Radio Shack.

I love how soft and pliable the cable feels and it was a form factor that I wanted. The gold connectors and thick yet flexible cables seemed perfect, but all that means little when the cable is cheaply constructed. Approximately one year after I bought this, I noticed that the left audio channel just went out entirely. Checked all the cables to narrow down the problem and these were the cause. I opened the cable jacks up and immediately saw the cause. The cable inside is pretty thin, and they soldered the joint poorly. It looks like a cold joint and just moving around the setup once or twice flexed the cable inside enough so that it snapped off cleanly. I'll get them working again as a backup, but these are definitely getting replaced by something else. Stick to HOSA or brand name cables. I could just be unlucky, but I'm reviewing based on what I received and what happened.

This is a single cable and it's pretty high quality for the price. I have a Magni amp that is connected to my Komplete Audio 6 3/4 outputs and this cable works perfectly for it. The other reviews on Amazon are very misleading if you only look at the stars. Both of the other reviews simply didn't understand what they were buying but it's no fault of the product. If you're looking for a single stereo 1/4" to rca cable, this is a good solution.

Looked like a good deal, as the pics were promising, but the actual product is poorly designed, especially the cable itself.
